Works wonders on scars!

By

from USA

Comments about Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum:

I have been using this product for a few months now and have already seen a big difference in the color of my scarring from acne. I was very self conscious regarding to the scars and would always have to wear makeup to cover them even when running small errands. I was unsure Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum but after being a major fan of other Origins products I took the plunge and bought this serum. I just apply a little dot to each scar, just enough to cover the scar and a little around it, and leave it on. The product is lightweight and smells nice as well. The price may be a little high if someone were to use a large amount every day but with as little as I use I will not be running out of this any time soon in the years to come. As stated before, it has helped to fade most all of my acne scars. I had surgery on my elbow a while back and I even use a little of this on the scar to help with fading. That scar will fade anyway but I like to help the process. I would recommend this to anyone with scarring and/or un-even skin tone. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Been using for a year, haven't noticed much

Comments about Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum:

I was really hoping to love this product, but haven't seen dramatic improvements. I stock-piled a few bottles during a holiday sale, and faithfully have been using it, but unfortunately will no longer buy this Origins Serum.

Effectiveness
I may have seen the lightest, if even any, changes at all. I have lots of dark spots on my face since pregnancy (the infamous pregnancy mask) and was hoping they would be improved from this serum, but unfortunately, I was mistaken. I read plenty of reviews of others seeing improvement after four weeks, but I did not see any. It did make my face very soft though, and I felt as though I didn't need a moisturizer in the pm after using it.

Ease of Application
The serum spreads rather nicely and is absorbed very easily in your skin. You use it twice a day before your daily moisturizer and make-up.

Scent
I really liked the scent of this serum. It was light and citrusy. I enjoyed the smell and didn't mind using it twice a day.

Don't know if it works yet!

Comments about Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum:

**Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum. **i'm 32, and I've got asian skin freckles! I would like to reduce the spots and use this product to prevent future spots. What I do like about this product is that it feels good coming on to the skin, no doubt due to its natural ingredients. It doesn't go on feeling greasy, either - just soaks silkily into the skin. However - the bad side is that I don't know if it works since I have yet to see an improvement. That said, I'll probably continue to use this (and the moisturizer from Origins Brighter by nature line which has am SPF of 35!) until both products run out, just in case. So - after 2 weeks of using this product, I'd have to say it has not lightened any spot yet. I also stay out of the sun as much as I can so I don't get more freckles or age spots. I don't think this product causes any redness in my skin, but, perhaps that is a personal fragrance issue?
Update:
I haven't really seen an increase in brightened skin. In fact, over time, this product seemed to degrade and become more oily to me, and takes a lot longer to wait for this product to soak/dry, before I put on my foundation.

Scent
Smells a little like your mom's cold creme.

Love this moisturizer!

Comments about Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum:

I have been trying to take better care of my skin. I never really broke out but have had dull skin and several blackheads. I started using some of the other products from the Origins line and have been greatly pleased with the results. I feel like my skin looks younger, healthier, and brighter. This moisturizer leaves my skin feeling very replenished (I have very dry skin) and I honestly feel like my skin looks brighter (like it almost has a tint to it-I am very fair complected as well). A major bonus is that it has SPF built in and typically I find moisturizers with an SPF of 20 but this product has an SPF of 35 which means I don't have to put on sunscreen when I am out and about (but would still use extra at the beach or pool). It also smells very good!

Origins Brighter by Nature - not one of Origins better products

By

from South San Francisco, CA

Comments about Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum:

I developed a couple of very pale brown spots under my right eye in the last year or so.  I figured that the Origins Brighter by Nature Skin Tone Correcting Serum should do the trick and eliminate the spots since they were light and relatively new.  I purchased a bottle and I faithfully used this product twice a day, every day for several months.  I saw absolutely no change at all in the spots.  They did not disappear, lighten or even decrease in size.  Absolutely no change whatsoever.  None.  (And this stuff ain’t exactly cheap either!)

Worried that I wasn’t using enough since I was only dabbing a small drop directly on the spots, I started to pump out a bigger amout of serum and rub it all over my entire face.  No luck doing this either.  Nothing at all.  Nada.  Niente.  Looking back at me from the bathroom mirror was a face with the same ugly brown spots right under the eye.  No lighter, no smaller.

Origins promises users that the serum “Helps create more even skin tone and zap the appearance of dark spots.”  I really wish this were true!

What a total and complete disappointment and waste of my hard-earned money!!  Someday I hope to find something that keeps its promise and actually works…

An oily sheen over red cheeks

By

from Saint Louis, MO

Comments about Origins Brighter by Nature - Skin Tone Correcting Serum:

I love trying new things, so when the ladies at my Origins counter offered me a free sample of Brigher by Nature skin tone correcting serum, I was excited.  I love when products contain natural ingredients, although I have previously learned that "all-natural" products can.still irritate my skin (another Origins product).

I tried the serum in the manner advised by the Origins associates: after toning, before moisturizing.  I used the serum three times, and each time, my face ended up reddened and shiny!  I know it is the Origins serum that is doing this, because I have another serum I was using before the sample, and I did not have a shiny, red face from it!

I threw away the rest of the sample after using it one last time today (third time's a charm, right?) and having my mom, my boyfriend, and his mom all notice how red and shiny my face was.  In his words, "You do look a little splotchy."
