Original Pancake House - Chicago, IL Reviews

This is a little gem of a breakfast place.  We like to go our for breakfast once on the weekends with the kids and it was only recently that we tried this spot.  As a point of reference we also like Milk & Honey and Wishbone. 

The Original Pancake House is not as swanky or cool as other places, but the food is solid, affordable and fast.  We actually have one closer to our house on Clark and Armitage but find this location on Bellevue to be brighter and cheerier.

As for the food the food, I was most surprised by the strawberry crepes.  My son ordered them and I was expecting something pretty...

One of my dear cousin introduced me to The Original Pancake House, and I love it.  Even though I'm not what one may call a "breakfast eater", I still enjoy my occassional trips to the OPH.  The Original Pancake House has good food, at great prices, and is wonderful way to spend time with family and friends.
