I've suffered with Fibromyalgia for more than 15 years.  Fibro causes chronic pain, chronic fatigue, migraine headaches, both osteo & rheumatiod arthritis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and many, many other symptoms. My neighbor kept asking me to come lay on her Bio-Mat.  She said it would help with my pain.  I didn't really believe her and would agree to go over, but didn't, all the time thinking "whatever".  Finally, while at her house one day I laid down on the mat.  I didn't feel any better but I enjoyed the warmth and felt that it sank deep into my body.  After a few days I laid on the mat second time.  While there on the mat, I took some deep, cleansing breaths.  I felt as though I could actually feel oxygen moving within my lungs and chest.  I mentioned it to her and she told me she had actually experienced the same feeling.  I was intrigued and now interested.  I continued to lay on the mat, almost daily, believing more and more that it could possibly heal me.  After two weeks, I could feel the difference in my muscles and nerves.  Areas of my body that had been swollen and engorged with pain were beginning to relax and feel more normal.  As well, my headaches were coming less frequently.  At this time I was ready to buy a mat of my own.   After a month on the mat I had detoxed my colon.  I used the mat on the highest setting, which is a sauna setting, everyday for a week.  I began to pooh three or four times every day.  I was concerned that I had done something wrong and when I asked my friend she responded with, "That's great!  That means it's working.  Your colon is detoxing."  I'm of the age that demands you start to take care of your organs.  I lost almost 30 pounds in that month and what actually happened was that my colon was completely cleaned out.  I no longer felt the need for a colonoscopy.  Other amazing things began to happen too.  After being a smoker for more than 20 years, I didn't want to disturb my oxygenated lungs anymore with smoke. I stopped smoking, cold turkey.  Not wanting to use the harsh drugs my doctors had perscribed for me, I had self-medicated myself for years with marijuana.  I stopped smoking pot, cold turkey, on the very same day. I've suffered with allergies to trees, weeds and everything that blew in with the wind.  I had been on a perscribed inhaler for many years.  I have no more allergy symptoms and have not refilled my inhaler in the last month.  I was able to stop taking my over-the-counter arthritis medication as well.  My next hope is to stop my expensive arthritis medication.  Many Fibro sufferers experience extreme pain in their low back and hips.  My pain has been relieved so much that I am now much more flexible in these areas.  I am able to bend, stand, stoop, walk and squat without pain.  I've had arthroscopy in both knees and can now squat down to my grandchildrens level.  My quality of life has increased 1000 fold.  I can now clean my house (apprx. 1800 sq. feet) in one day.  I can shop, garden, cook a meal and clean up afterward without the pain.  Best of all, I can play with my grandkids and enjoy them!  The pain in my hips that I believed was pinched sciatic nerves, is gone. In four short weeks my life has made a complete 180 degree turn.  I am so relieved and thankful for the change that I have now become a distributor.  I am able to work at my business at least eight hours a day now.  I haven't been able to hold a job in almost ten years.  I have been "Let Go" from several positions due to excessive absence.  I have recently done two health faires, with the Bio-Mat, the first a one day show and the second a two day show.  Previously, I could not have done this.  Sure I may have been able to do the shows but my exhaustion following would have put me to bed for a week.  Neither show landed me in bed and my pain level was not intense.  I rested overnight and was able to carry on the new day without any problems. I have been living with chronic pain since 1989 when I was initially diagnosed with severe bi-lateral carpal tunnel syndrome. After having surgery on both hands, and endless bouts of physical therapy, nerve blocks, various other tests, and diagnoses along the way, not to mention procedures; I only seemed to be left in more physical pain. Ending diagnosis: Nerve damage, disk degeneration and bulging, scarring, disk fusing, CFS, Fibromyalgia, RA, RSD, OA, Lupus and Migraines. My point is: Some days it takes every ounce of energy to get out of bed in the morning, so when I saw the Amethyst Far Infrared Bio-Mat I researched it for about a year before purchasing it. I lay it on top of my bed daily and it actually has helped. It's not a 100% miracle cure, but it has made a difference. I have been suffering from RSD/CRPS since 2001. I have been through everything from nerve blocks to simple Occupational Therapy. I have tried tons of pain medication and nerve medications. Nothing has helped me enough to stay on the meds. I felt hopeless and angry. Until my chiropractor told me about the Bio-Mat and suggested I try it. Well, after much research and a lot of fussing around, I purchased it. My distributor said she would loan me hers to try out and see if it helps, but I was so sick of living with this horrible pain that I just bought it. Hoping of course it would work. Needless to say, it is the best item I have purchased in the 8 years I have been living with my RSD. I sleep on it every night and after 2 nights I had noticed the swelling in my ankles from Osteoarthritis has gone down totally. I can finally see my ankle bone again.
