Generally I buy quality items and keep them forever. In cases where I need little trinkets like party decorations and favors or items for party gift bags, I turn to Oriental Trading Company.

I did not have a need for little favors, until I had kids. Kids love little playthings that don't have to be treated carefully. I can pay a few cents for Halloween vampire teeth, and that's great. The kids think it's cool to have fangs. They enjoy them for a few days or weeks.

I found Oriental Trading Company when I was planning my wedding 2 years ago and I still visit it often to see what's new! 

What is it?

Oriental Trading Company provides lots of unique gift-type items that are small and great for things like schools, party goody-bags, party favors, and more!  When you explore the site, you may think it looks like it is only for kids.  While it is obvious that kids are the main focus of the site, I have found quite a few different things to buy there that were great for my wedding and other parties!

Sometimes things can get a little complicated for Santa at this time of year.  As one of the grand old man's personal shoppers, part of my assignment each year is buying gifts for three little girls in Michigan.  I always make it a point to give each child an identical gift.  When they were younger, this was easy -- they all got "little girl" things like dolls, coloring books, story books, school supplies, gingerbread house kits, etc.  I noticed that they especially enjoyed things which were personalized.

We just received our shipment from Oriental Trading today.  I LOVE opening a box from Oriental Trading.  It's always filled with fun things that I know my kids will love.  And the items that they carry aren't expensive, and most are usually small in size, so they would make EXCELLENT stocking stuffers.

I was first introduced to Oriental Trading several years ago as a teacher. I was able to find unique classroom decorations, crafts and even inspiration from their catalog for ideas to include in my lesson plans and to keep the children creatively entertained.  Now I know that there is more to Oriental Trading than just craft supplies.

I always enjoy shopping with Oriental Trading.  Some of their stuff is cheesy, but what do you expect when you get 100 of something for 3.99?  lol

Overall, it's a fun place to shop, and a great place to get goodies for grab bags and gift baskets, inexpensively.  

When comparing prices for  purchasing materials for my preschool class such as: arts and crafts items, behavior incentives, toys and games; I have usually found the best prices and quality at Oriental Trading.  I order online at their website and usually receive my items well packaged within a few days to a week.

      They show they care about their customers and the  community.  I called about a shipment I never received.  They reshipped and told me, if first the package was to arrive to donate it to a group in my community that could use it.  Never had that happen before with any...
