A family member got this for me as a gift after seeing other bottles of Organix in my shower. I was happy to try it because I love new hair products but when I smelled it I was not a fan. The smell is so heavy for me. The smell is a very manufactured smell of vanilla. It doesn't smell natural to me at all. The products are not organic even though they are titled Organix. They are paraben free and don't test on animals but their ingredients aren't natural or organic. The conditioner isn't great on this. The shampoo was very nice to me, much like the pomegranate formula but the conditioner was terrible. The smell was too strong and I wanted it out of my hair immediately. It didn't condition and it dried me out. I tried to get through it because a relative bought it for me but it wasn't worth it. I gave the shampoo and conditioner to my first cousin who actually likes vanilla. Effectiveness My hair was dry and tangled. Scent The smell was too strong and very manufactured. It didn't smell natural at all.

I use the Organix soft and silky vanilla silk conditioner in combination with the Organjx soft and silky vanilla silk shampoo that I have previously reviewed! I love love LOVE the smell of this conditioner! I think that it smells like a really light and sensual vanilla and it makes my hair smell amazing all day! I use this conditioner every day with the matching shampoo and it moisturized my hair without making it oily. The vanilla extracts in this conditioner really make the strands of my hair so soft like silk! I have noticed a visual improvement in the shininess of my hair! I really love all of the shampoos and conditioners in the Organix line of products! I have not tried one that I haven't liked! Overall, I would definitely recommend Organix soft and silky vanilla silk conditioner for anyone who wants movie star hair! It will definitely make your hair look shiny and silky!

Organix is a wonderful brand for people that want to try the natural shampoo and conditioner root and still have great feeling, and great smelling hair. I purchased Organix Soft & Silky Vanilla Silk Conditioner, and used it along side with the Soft & Silky Vanilla Silk Shampoo. The shampoo itself left my hair feeling wonderfully soft so I was not sure if I even needed to use the conditioner coupled with it. I did, and sweet baby Jesus. This stuff made my hair feel like a dream. You know how in a commercial for hair you will see how their hair moves effortlessly, has that great shine, and just looks like it would be soft to the touch? That is what this conditioner did for my hair. I have never had my hair have such a great shine as this product gave me, and it made my hair feel like it was never touched by dye. Scent The scent differs from the shampoo a bit. It is still vanilla-y, but it also has a warm, sensual undertone to it that makes it smell "sexy". It does stay a while after it has been washed out and my hair has dried. And the smell compliments whatever perfume I wear that day.

I was a little nervous about trying a new conditioner, because I tend to either love them or hate them; however, when Organix put a "Try me Free" tag on their products, I thought I'd give it a shot. I mean worst case scenario, I get my money back, right? Well, unfortunately for my pocketbook, but fortunately for me, I immediately fell in love with this conditioner. I have very long hair which is wavy and curly and kinda wild, so a quality conditioner is important to my sanity. As I stood in the aisle debating which scent of conditioner I should buy, the decision was made the very moment that I caught a whiff of the Vanilla Silk conditioner. It's a warm, comforting smell that reminds you of warm sugar cookies at Grandma's house, and it really can't be beat. By the end of the bottle, I had never grown tired of this intoxicating smell...both in the shower and throughout the day as I flipped my hair. The smell is simply amazing, and the conditioning properties are extraordinary as well. My hair was well-conditioned after treatment, but not weighed down or heavy like some conditioners leave it. I cannot reccomend this product enough to anyone who is looking for something better than the usual store brands out there!

I absolutely adore the smell of vanilla, so Organix Soft & Silky Vanilla Silk conditioner had me from first sniff. The smell is completely heavily. Unfortunately, its actual conditioning properties doesn't match the fragrance's excellence. This Organix conditioner, doesn't cleanse your hair, nor does it truly hydrate it. My hair was left heavy with conditioner, even after rinsing it out, and it was hard to notice any difference between using this product, and using the accompanying shampoo. I kept it though, for the bottle's shape, and because of the fragrance. The conditioner is very heavy, and left my hair slightly dry, with nothing added. Basically, it simply stripped the nutrients, and left none behind. It literally took the umph and life out of my hair, and I had to try a variety of other products to help bring it back. I've kept the original two bottles I bought, and have been using them as a shower soap. They seem to work well that way.

This is one of the best shampoo and conditioner brands out there. It leaves my hair feeling healthy, soft and smooth. My hair is thick and it tangles easily, this brand helps with this problem significantly.

Organix Shampoos and Condtioners are by far the best shampoo, they are in the price range of little bit more than most suave, pantene, types, but not as expensive as redken, bedhead, etc.... They are definately worth paying a little bit extra for.  I don't know if it is because they are organic but they have thick creamy conditioners, and using the product every day has left no build-up in my hair.  So my hair is well nourished, but still is bouncy and has lots of natural volume.  I found it buy-one-get-one so if you see a sale on this product I would grab it!!  It smells so great too.  The vanilla was the scent I chose but the pomegranate and the coconut smell great as well.  It even has kept my hair from smelling like smoke after I was in a bar, that still allowed smoking, all night.  I would buy this as a not-so-expensive gift for anyone, because it's nice enough that the recipient will appreciate the purchase and use it too!!

oh my goodness I love this stuff! I bought Organix Soft and Silky Vanilla Silk Conditioner simply becuase I fell in love with the smell. Not a smart reason to buy hair conditioner, but that's what I do. I had previously bought Organix Shea Butter Conditioner since it was supposed to smooth your hair, well, that did not work so I thought maybe silky hair was the way to go. It was a gamble, but worth it! Firstly, the smell alone is to die for. I wish they made body wash! You definitely have to keep the conditioner on your hair for the recommended 3 to 5 minutes. I really notice a difference the longer i keep it on my hair. And you also can't really let it air-dry. if you use a hair dryer on it it seems to keep it way more silky and less poofy/frizzy. (hmmm. maybe that's the trick in itself....who knows.) But i really do like this product, I wish it smelled for a longer period of time, since really it only smells great until you rinse it out of your hair. but I really like it! I need to try it with the shampoo.

Organix Vanilla Silk Conditioner smells wonderful. I can't deal with strong scents (especially in the morning), but this has just enough scent to smell fresh and rich without being overpowering. I have normal-to-oily hair that sometimes frizzes on me, and this conditioner does a serviceable job of smoothing out the frizz, though I don't feel like it really adds any body to my hair. It's not a deep conditioner--I use another product on occasion to get that--but it's a decent everyday product. The reason I originally decided to give it a try is because of it's claim of being environmentally friendly, and I was looking to switch to more natural and eco-friendly personal care products. Compared to higher-end brands--even eco-friendly high-end brands--this doesn't give as sleek of a feeling to my hair. But it is certainly the best drugstore brand that I've found that also is better to the environment.

It's too bad this conditioner didn't live up to my expectations because I love that it is an eco-friendly option for hair care and comes in such an enticing scent.  The problem I had in using this conditioner was that it left my hair in tangles.  Usually, the conditioners I use leave my hair manageable and smooth, but this conditioner seemed to miss that mark.  I'm willing to try other varieties of this brand to see if I had a faulty bottle or something, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet.  This product is sulfate free and safe for color treated hair.  The vanilla scent comes from Tahitian vanilla bean oils that are supposed to nourish and moisturize your hair.  My hair is normal-dry, and tends to dry out a little in the winter months, so I'm always looking for hair products that moisturize my hair and protect it from drying out.  WIth a great scent like this, I hope they continue to improve upon their conditioners.
