My daughter was using the Organix Coconut Mousse while I visited with her this summer. I loved it so when I went to purchase it I noticed the Organix Coconut Shampoo and bought it as well. I couldn't wait to try it out. I don't know why.
How it performs:
The shampoo smells heavenly [if you like the smell of coconut- which I do] and is very thick. It is white with a satiny sheen that makes me think of pearls.
Price vs. Value:
A tiny dab of cleanser goes a long way which is a good thing because the 13 ounce bottle is not as large as many shampoos. The $6.99 pricetag seemed a bit steep for a...

I found this product to be one of the biggest disappointments I have had in a long time. The Organix Coconut Milk shampoo was a total waste of money for me.
The lather from this product was non-exsistent. I thought the scent was wonderful...really was the best thing about this product.
The cost of the shampoo was well above what I normally pay for shampoo but this product performed like it should have been in the bargain bin at a dollar store!
I didn't even finish the bottle, I threw it away after about a week of use!
i began using the Organix conditioner of this line first while finishing up my old shampoo. i am now using the Nourishing Coconut Milk shampoo, conditioner, anti-breakage serum and mousse. i love this stuff... it makes my hair so soft and shiny. it stays hydrated all day and i don't have to worry about frizz, ever. my hair smells awesome for 2 days. it's an all natural product that is very rich. it contains no parabens, which is great. parabens have been linked to all sorts of cancers, reproductive disorders and neurological disorders. hello? neurological disorders??? then why...

I have very thick African-American hair which is consistently dry. I switched to this shampoo because I learned that it was sulfate free and less drying than the other products that I have previously used. The first three times I used the shampoo everything was wonderful, however I made the mistake of using too much this last time and it completely dried out my hair.
My advice keep the suds on your scalp and use a quarter sized amount.
The fragrance of this shampoo is just what I needed to lift my spirits on a dreary winter day. However, it left my hair feeling stripped and the opposite of nourished.
Nothing beats my Frederic Fekkai.
