Although my family has been eating top of the line healthy for a couple of decades now, I still have had some terrible problems with allergies. Allergies would hit me hard in spring time and after only a few weeks of freedom, I would end up with weeks of hellish suffering that went on for months.

My eyes would start running and I would sneeze so severely for hours on end that my nose would often run like Niagara Falls for hours. My life in summer was a living hell. I tried EVERYTHING from allergy shots, to vitamins, supplements, and prescriptions for help. Sometimes there was one allergy medicine from Walmart that would work without making me TOO drowsy, but that just was not doing it for me- it wiped me out.

The asthma attacks were brutal as well. I would often spend hours clutching at a pillow terrified that each labored breath would be my last. Nothing helped that- except one herbal remedy would enable me to breathe enough to sleep. However, I could not take it every day.

HOW DID I DISCOVER OREGANOL P-73?

One night while my husband was watching me fight for life with severe asthma, he prayed and asked God for an answer- that this had gone on long enough. I tured on the TV after hours of no sleep and being exhausted from the effort of breathing.

There was a show on called KNOW THE CAUSE with a man named Doug Kaufmann. He had a guest doctor on who just so happened to be an expert on severe allergies and asthma.

I listened with half expectation and half jadedness. But I did listen.

In short, there were four steps to being allergy free-

1. No yeast or fermented products in diet( I had been a fan of organic wines and vodka)
2. Take antifungals daily- OREGANOL p-73 was named as most powerful
3. Take Dr. Ohhira's probiotic capsule (despite that I had been taking probiotics for years)
4. Take Immunition beta glucan (no other brand would do)

Although I was prepared to doubt everything I saw on most shows, something about this show rang true. I have studied extensively in the field of health and nutrition for years and everything that I had known from experience and deduction but never heard anyone else say before was coming out of this show.

Despite the high cost of this endeavor, I was prepared to give it a try. I was desperate.

HOW DOES OREGANOL P73 WORK?

I preferred not to take any capsules. I wanted to take the pure Oreganol P73 Oil from the dropper bottle for quick assimilation into my system.

A .45 oz bottle was $29.99 retail so I was in for a risk. I was willing to try.

Instead of getting a bottle of regular, I decided to try for a super strength bottle. The retail for 1 oz was $70 and I just did not have it. I opted for another source, where I found it for $32. It was worth a try.

The way to get OREGANOL P-73 to work is to place a drop under the tongue. Yes, it is powerful. Yes, it is zippy. However, it works the best that way. After a while I got used to it and actually LIKED it, believe it or not.

The first time I tried it, I had started sneezing rapidly in succession so heavily that it was almost impossible to get the bottle open to get a drop in my mouth without spilling it all over. Once I got one drop under my tongue, within a minute or two, the sneezing stopped.

A half hour later, I started sneezing, and a drop later of OREGANOL p-73 I was peaceful again.

HOW WELL DID OREGANOL P-73 HELP ALLERGIES?

After the first few weeks, I found myself only needing one drop of Oreganol P-73 twice a day and I did not sneeze once in between. This was nothing short of miraculous!

I literally made it through last summer with only three or four days of moderate occasional sneezing. The rest of the summer I was completely allergy free. The only symptoms I had a few other times were slightly watery eyes a few times here and there- that was IT!

WHAT ELSE IS OREGANOL P-73 GOOD FOR?

I have found a ton of uses for OREGANOL P-73 since last summer.

I had a canker sore in my mouth that would not go away, and after dropping oreganol on it a few times, it was gone.

Whenever I would get hit with a sore throat, I would take a drop of Oreganol P-73 and within minutes the sore throat was gone.

I have had a crack in my nose every winter for as long as I can remember. It would ooze and crust, and scab up over and over and over, causing me much pain and discomfort. NOTHING ever helped it until late spring would come along.

This past winter, I put a drop of OREGANOL P-73 on it and within TWO DAYS it was completely GONE! 2 months later, it tried to come back, but I did the same thing and it never did return at all the rest of the winter!

I have even done what was said NOT to do. I got tired of my eyes watering and leaving my lids raw and miserable for a few days, so I took a tiny bit of Oreganol P-73 and diluted it with oilive oil and rubbed it on my lids being careful not to get it in my eyes.

By the end of the day, my lids were healing and the next day- they were fine!

My husband had a migraine style headache that nothing would help. After the second day when it was getting worse by the minute, I tried to get him to take a drop of OREGANOL P-73, but he was rolling his eyes in doubt. Finally, I got him to let me put just one under his tongue. After making some faces, a minute later, his eyes popped outo f his head- the headache was going away. In five minutes or so it was totally gone.

He is a believer now!

I have found a few other uses for it, but I can not remember at the moment. If I do, I will add them to this review.

MY VIEWPOINT SUMMARY

I have never spent an entire summer almost totally allergy free as long as I can remember. Oreganol P-73 (in conjunction with the other things I listed in moderate amounts) literally changed my life.

I have had only one or two asthma attacks in the last year, whereas I usually would have about 25 in a year's time- mostly in damp weather or when around dust.

I can not rave enough about Oreganol P-73. Although I started with the super strength, I am currently using the regular strength with good results as well.

There is nothing I have ever used which has worked so quickly and so efficiently across the board for all sorts of problems.

HOW MANY BOTTLES HAVE I GONE THROUGH IN A YEAR?

I have used up one .45oz bottle of super strength, and I am working on my 1oz bottle of super strength which is still 1/3 full. I decided over a month ago to get a bottle of regular strength to test out first to compare results.

After a month, I am seeing similar results with the regular strength, but I have to sometimes use two drops instead of one.

You can also get OREGANOL P-73 at various health distributors and stores around the US and on the internet. MAKE SURE THAT IT IS JUST PLAIN OREGANOL P-73- there are a lot of forumlations which have similar labels.

CAN YOU SUBSTITUTE A CHEAPER OR DIFFERENT BRAND OF OREGANO OIL?

NO, nothing else will work like this particular brand will- YOU HAVE TO USE THIS ONE for the results.

I have recommended OREGANOL P-73 to several people who fought me on taking that brand, but after they finally decided to try it, they said they only wished they had not wasted their money on other brands. I have seen such remarkable results with these people- some of which had no relief for many years- I am talking 30-40 years of suffering with things!

For very tough cases, it is recommended that gel caps of Oreganol be taken along with the drops.

I agree, after being an allergy sufferer for many years, going through countless rounds of antibiotics and finally nasal surgery, I was told about Oreganol from a friend. At the time I had a sinus infection and couldn't bear the thought of another round of antibiotics so I decided to try it out. I put 5 drops under my tongue for a week (friend suggestion to kill the sinus infection) and not only did it clear up my sinus infection COMPLETELY I have not had allergy symptoms since! Wow so simple, I wish I knew about this 10 years ago! Oreganol is the ONLY brand my friend allowed me to try and it does work.

So far I have not had one allergy attack and we are almost halfway through June. Usually by now I am in agony with my inner eyelids peeling, constantly sneezing, gushing eyes, etc. I have only sneezed half a dozen times and that is it. I take a drop of Oreganol just to be sure and nothing further has happened just yet. This is remarkable. Also, that crack in my nose never did reappear this year. I only had it twice total since last spring. Usually I have it try to appear at least a few times even after using Oreganol (every few months it would try) . I am seeing such great results! Great to hear about the mosquito bites- that is fantastic to know.

This is to know. I too have allergies. I live in Florida, and one of my favorite months of the year is March. It is also my worst month for allergies. However, I too, take Oreganol. I love it!
Not the taste, but what it does for you.
I wanted to point out that I've had only two sore throats this past year, and as soon as I got them, I sprayed 'Oregaspray'. Instantly, the sore throat was gone. The taste is HORRIBLE! but the results are well well worth a couple of seconds of taste agony.
When you spray it, you'll feel like you want to gag, but don't spit out. Believe me! If you swallow it, your throat will feel great once again.
The Oreganol is excellent for mosquito bites too.

This is great to hear how everyone is doing! Since changing to the primarily raw foods diet I have not had the great need for Oreganol P73 that I had the first year. Any time I get a sneezing attack- usually in the early spring, when cleaning a VERY dusty area without a mask on, or during very heavy winds in allergy season, one or two drops of Oreganol P73 stops it in its tracks- literally. I usually stop sneezing within minutes, on a severe day, perhaps it takes 20 minutes. This is a big improvement over two years ago when I very first started using Oreganol P-73 full strength.

I have also had remarkable results with a crack that used to form in my nose starting in October and going through until June. It was very painful and would never heal. Last year I put Oreganol P73 on it-not even a drop. IT made my eyes water and was burny but within three to five days of only one or two applications a day (I dip a toothpick in it and put it on the sore area), the crack goes completely away and does not show up again for months.

I am very interested in the breath fresh experience you had, Marcia! My daughter has trouble with that, so I will get her on Oreganol. I have found that no other brand works like this one, however. I stick by my experience for the North American Herbs company only. Others just did not do it for me as of yet. My husband also experienced immediate resolution of both sinus problems and migraine headache on several occasions. He rarely gets these unless under severe stress, and Oreganol P-73 has been fabulous. I have found that the super strength seems to be the best choice for me- the other one is not strong enough for most applications.

Would like to add some feedback on my usage, Been using superstrength (ouch) as had developed tiredness and muscle pains from a tick (possibly precursor of Lymes). Instead of antibiotics as suggested by the doctor who removed the head ... little bugger didn't want to leave my lovely shoulder!) I began Oreganol. 1-2 drops at bedtime. I also allow the natural saliva to form as a result of the assault and let that stay in my mouth as long as possible as I also have receding gums. Big improvement in dental health; fresh breath in the morning and after 2 weeks now noticing
a) my tongue feels oils, and never really loses the taste
b) hence I don't experience the variation in food taste quite so much
c) so I eat less (that's good)
d) all have less thirst so drink less (not so good)
e) Have much less desire for sugary foods etc. stuff I would occasionally crave
f ) have lost some weight as a by-product of all the above
g) will continue as I have pets which like to get up close and friendly and even if I can avoid the slobber it does get on seating etc so I think it important to ensure too much of their colony doesn't come and live with me.

Would be interested to hear of anybody's else experiences with Oreganol.

Ooops! made a mistake. You don't actually get the 5% back they send you coupons for $5 - $10 off periodically. It works with a card that you can either get in the store or they send it to you. Then you use the card everytime you purchase something.

No no I was just taking the recommended amount - my stomach wasn't upset but I do get heartburn from it. Even now, that I've been taking it awhile I'll still get it occasionally. I've been bad lately though, I'm forgetting to take my vitamins/herbs everyday. I don't know why because I have them out where I can see them....just so swamped with school and homework these days.

Just paste it if it doesn't come out as a link here. I took a look the other day and VS definately sells it on their site. They sell their brand, the North American Brand and several others as well. The nice thing is they have different ways to take it. There is one that is a softgel. I might try that down the road. The VS is a good store I like their variety and they have the best price on Rescue Remedy (which I swear by - I love that stuff) Also, if you join their rewards program you will get 5% back of what you spend there annually.

Hi Caprig, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but - working 2 jobs & going to school doesn't leave me very much free time anymore. Today I came and posted a review about the Oreganol P73. I've found some new facts that you may be interested in. First the oil does work for me but there are side BIG effects that I'm trying to overcome. It gives me really bad heartburn, and the taste is the worst I've ever experienced in ANYTHING! I just can't tolerate taking it straight. I bought some empty caps and filled them but they leaked! The I found out it's sold at the VItamin Shoppe. I went there & spoke with the clerk. She mistakenly gave me the dried herb pills but I didn't realize it until after I got home & opened the bottle. But i found out that North American sells their oil to other companies like the VS and they in turn put their own label on it. It's the same exact oil and it's much cheaper! Check it out at the vitaminshoppe.com or if you have stores in your area - ask them. Anyway, thanks for posting here - I had never heard of it before I saw your review.

Nice Review Caprig. I just ordered some extra strength about 2 days ago. I ate a burger at Burger King back in July 2008, and a few days later woke up with Rotten Egg / Sulfur burps. The rest of the day I was in the bathroom with the worst diarrhea of my life. It was basically like I was peeing from my bum.. Sorry to be so graphic.

But it doesn't end there. The reason I'm trying this is because since then, (about every 14 days or so) I will wake up with rotten egg burps, and my stomach gets really upset when I eat meats, or other certain types of foods, and drink anything dairy (especially milk).

I've narrowed this down to being a parasite from the burger I ate. Most likely the parasite known as Giardia. Could have been some form of food poisoning too like Salmonella, or E Coli too. But I want these symptoms to go away. Especially the Rotten Egg burps. I really hope that this Oreganol Super Strength does the trick. If you have any other recommendations for this please let me know. Here is my email :

EXCELLENT! One or two drops a day of that stuff is all I need for remarkable results. I was disappointed when I got the regular, but when I saw that half and half with the extra was just as good as extra it was a way to save some $.

Just to let you know, the only thing that works when I am under heavy attack is the super strength- the regular one is only good with super strength mixed half and half. I found the regular one to be not effective, but when mixed half and half with super it is great. I hope you do well with it!

If you do this with the anti fungal diet (way of eating- not really a *diet*) you will probably have much better results. I find that with arthritis you need to do a more aggressive attack on it from more than one front. You can find some excellent info starting at www.knowthecause.com Watching the show (they have them on the site daily) will give you a lot of insight- but you have to sort through a little bit of stuff that won't apply to you here and there. I hope it works for you- I know how much it has helped me! :)

well my allergies are not severe on a consistant basis but are very annoying at times. I was mostly interested in this because I read somewhere (not sure if it was here) that it helps with Arthritis, which I suffer intensely from - it's gotten to the point where I can't walk some days. I was in the store the other day and saw a bottle of Wild Oregano Oil caps. After talking to store clerk who knew quite a bit about the properties & functions of the O.O. she convinced me to buy the bottle of 60 caps for $11. I've been taking it for two days and it does seem to help. I'm now going to try to get the brand you suggested because I want to see if it will work better for me.

Hi! I have used natural remedies for allergies for years- in fact I think I have tried just about everything out there from high powered prescriptions to allergy shots, to all other combinations I could find for allergies. Nothing worked. Oreganol P-73 is the first thing that I have ever encountered that really does work so completely well, not only for me, but others that I know personally who thought I was exaggerating the results. I remember one lady screaming in a store that she works at when I went by- she kept hollering my name. When we got to talk, she was raving so much about Oreganol and how it is the only thing that worked for her in many years, I laughed. It was fun to meet someone else that had finally found an answer for her allergy/yeast problems too! She did take the capsules because she was concerned about her breath for work.
