I am not thrilled with it as it is sooo lightweight I feel it cannot do the job. I have had dogs and I am afraid that one day I will find dog hair embedded in my carpets and it will burn out the vacuum cleaner!

I own an Oreck XL upright vac. I used to clean houses and used the client's vac. I have seen every kind of vac out there. Some of the junkie, some of them just so so, some of the too heavy to cart around and none of them really very good. So I bought an Oreck XL and I know they are the best. I consider myself an expert when it comes to upright vacs and Oreck XL is the best. Don't waste your money on anything else.

Oreck is the only vacuum I have found that isn't disposable. Any other brand doesn't last six months in my house. The Oreck does just what it says it will do without any problems. This is the same brand used in hotels.
