I began using Oral-B Stages when my son was almost one year-old because my dental hygienist recommended we try it. It had been a struggle to brush his teeth for very long and I wasn't aware there was a baby "toothpaste" on the market.

I chose the tube with the lion, turtle and caterpillar from Baby Einstein because when I allow him to watch Baby Einstein he loves the lion and caterpillar the most. He instantly recognized them the first time we tried the toothpaste and roared while pointing to the lion.

I am a freak about hygiene first and foremost. So when my son started teething at five months of age I wanted the best toothpaste I could get for a decent price. I came across this at a local store. What drew me to it was that it came with a cute Elmo toothbrush and a 4oz bottle of cleanser for like 3bucks...Not too shabby! My son loves this Oral-B Stages Baby Tooth and Gum Cleaner. He likes the taste and he did not hesitate to try it from the first time he use it. Before I bought that for him, he always tried to escaped from brushing teeth routine. He cried and he even pretended sleeping. He drove me crazy everytime I wanted to brushed his teeth. And then I found Oral-B Stages Baby Tooth and Gum Cleaner, I bought it right away and had my son tried it after we got home. And guess what...my son did not acted the way he used to. He loves the taste of it and he wants me to bruhes his tooth everytime we go to the bathroom....

This seems to work well for my son. He doesn't seem to mind the taste and it only takes about a pea size for cleaning his teeth.
