Oral-B Mint Super Floss was recommended to me by my dentist. I really am reluctant to try different types of floss because of my gums. I purchased the floss from the local pharmacy and was impressed. It is minty, smooth, and felt good. I really do not like to floss but this product makes it easier.

The dental floss comes pre cut with each piece having a harder but still flexible edge followed by a soft bit then some floss at the end. The hard part at the front is great for threading between the bridge and my gums, I am able to move it around so that I am not causing any bleeding while I floss behind the bridge. I also use this for my bottom retainer that is cemented to my teeth. I am able to get the floss between the teeth and the wire to keep my teeth clean! I would recommend this to anyone with a bridge or wire retainer

I got this because flossing is a pain with braces. It's like threading a needle! This floss has a stiff end that makes flossing so much easier than using regular floss. I have a horrible time getting limp floss to maneuver around my braces. Having to attach a floss threader to floss is also a pain. I hate flossing and having to thread floss because of my braces makes me dislike flossing even more. The Super Floss makes sure that I do my flossing. I'm actually in between rating this floss a 4 star and a 5 star. The reason being the spongey part of the floss. I find that part annoying. I'm not sure what it's there for but it sometimes shreds and gets stuck in my braces. The worst part is that it has to go through my teeth because it comes right after the stiff end and before the regular floss part. I actually like a similar type of floss from Crest. It does not have the spongey part of the floss. The problem with that floss is that it is almost double the price of Super floss. Those who like how the spongey part of the floss works will probably prefer the Super floss.

Though it saddens me to say, I do not have great teeth. My parents did not put much stock in dental care for us when we were little, so needless to say as a grown up, I have been playing A LOT of catch up...which has meant A LOT of flossing. I never really thought a lot about floss. I kind of figured that it didn't matter what kind you used, it would still be just some annoying job that you have to do every day (for some of us twice a day). I have basically been using whatever floss I could get for free or close to it, which generally just means basic floss. However, I recently received a free package of the Oral B Glide Pro-Health Floss, and I'm kind of in love. It is more of a dental tape, which means that it glides easier in between my not perfectly straight teeth, and does not snag in places where there is tightness and overlap. I also feel like, because it is so flat, it covers more of the surface of my teeth (and those all-important nooks and crannies) with more ease, less irritation and in less time. It also have a fabulous minty taste that leaves my mouth feeling clean (I hate those un-flavored flosses). I guess that I will now be spending a bit more on my floss, but it will be worth it in the end if I can get a good review from my dentist.

Floss is one of those things that doesn't seem like a big deal.  That is until you end up with floss that really doesn't work and shreds in your mouth.  Or when you don't have floss on hand and attempt to use anything you can find to get that certain something out from between your teeth. I prefer Oral-B mint super floss.  My dentist gives it to us twice a year for free and it's always that kind that I request over all the others in the office.  It never shreds, has a great smell, and tastes good.  It works - and there isn't anything more important in floss than that!  I've found that Oral-B makes quality products that stand up to lots of usage.  I like their toothbrushes but love their floss even more.  Though it's not cheap in the stores, I think that it's worth the asking price.  Plus it always lasts a long time, and can save you lots of money in dental bills for the future!   I highly recommend it.

I bought this floss because I have a permanent retainer that is impossible to floss around. My dentist was threatening to take the retainer out (which I don't want because I don't want my teeth to move) unless I figured out a way to floss around it - and Super Floss was the answer. The reason I don't give this product 5 stars is because it's a little too thick for my teeth. That's obviously going to vary from person to person so you'd have to try it out to make sure or ask your dentist what thickness of floss you should be using. I've had many orthodontic appliances in my mouth for the past probably 15 years and never have found a product that made it so easy to clean around them as this floss. Those floss threader things are just too complicated and time consuming and they made my teeth hurt. This floss doesn't hurt and works well and easily. If you need something clean around any orthodontia, I would recommend Super Floss!

I purchase Oral-B Mint Super Floss for my kids exclusively. Two of my children have permanent retainers on their bottom teeth which makes flossing very difficult for them. The Oral-B Super Floss has a hardish end piece that makes it easier to insert through the retainers. I believe this is the only floss on the market with this feature. This floss is very important to our family, because I don't think my kids would do a very good job flossing with anything else. It's nice that it comes in mint flavor, the children like that. The one thing I do not like about Oral-B Mint Super Floss is the price. I think it's rather expensive for dental floss and it is never really on sale, nor do I see a lot of coupons for this item either. Anyway, I still buy this product because of its effectiveness and efficiency. I think this is the perfect dental floss for kids with temporary or permanent braces and retainers.

I have been using this product from past one year. I think its really amazing. The floss is really tastes good and reaches to each and every corner of my mouth. It is good even for the deep cleaning of the gums. Its mint taste helps me keep my interest in flossing daily. Oral B mint super floss is very easy to use. Its not an open thread pool that creates mess. I can take out whatever length i want and cut it with a cutter provided on the box itself. I dont have to find the  end of the thread everytime i use it. It has such good shape that i can even clean between two tight teeth. I was warned by my doctor that i could expect some bleeding in my gums before using any floss. But by Oral B mint super floss i never got bleeding gum. The thread is very strong and does not break easily. My son also uses this floss who has brases. Its very easy for him to use this floss. I really like this product alot.

The concept is great but the quality is poor.  The floss is so thin that it doesn't do a good job.  The spongy area works best but it is just too small.  I have moved on to a competitor's brand that is fabulous.

My daughter got two permanent spacers put in her mouth to make more room for her permanent teeth. Her orthodontist kept saying that she needed to brush better to make sure that her tissues didn't grow around the spacers. I was at a loss as to how I could make sure that she didn't have this trouble. I found these flossers at the store and they are a blessing. She can use the stiff end to thread it and then the varied floss to separate the tissue and remove the food particles from around her spacer. We tried other forms of floss and threaders to help her out, but she has had the most success with this floss. I was so impressed I started using it on my permanent lower retainer and I can feel that it does a better job than the separate floss and threader I have been currently using. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has orthodontia in their mouth. It helps keep the teeth spaces clean and keep the expensive orthodontia viable.
