I have always been one to use a toothbrush for way too long. I would keep the same toothbrush till the bristles were almost completely flat. At my last dental visit, my dentist recommended this Oral B Indicator toothbrush after we discussed my habit of using my toothbrush for way too long. This toothbrush will actually tell me when to throw it out and get a new one! It has a blue stripe in the bristles that will begin disappearing with use. When it wears down and is half gone that is the indication to throw it away and get another one. I have noticed that by replacing my toothbrush more often I am getting a better clean when I brush. The bristles are actually better able to get between the teeth to clean out that area and keep plaque from forming. I never realized how bad my brushing really was until I used this Oral B Indicator toothbrush. It really is a tooth saver for me! I recommend this toothbrush for anyone! It is just a great way to know when you are using a toothbrush with bristles ideal for a good teeth cleaning.

I was disappointed with the effectiveness of the Oral-B Indicator Toothbrush. The "indicator" was best feature of this toothbrush. The design of the toothbrush was not good at all. I did not feel like it cleaned my teeth as well as other toothbrushes I have used.

The Oral-B Indicator toothbrush is one of the brushes that I use most often, and for good cause. The pros of this toothbrush are as follows: Reasonably priced - I don't like to spend a whole lot of money on a toothbrush, I'm just looking for one that will do an average job for an average price. Special bristles that let you know when you need to replace your brush - always helpful. Works fine - I haven't experienced any problems with this toothbrush. Cons that I have found in this toothbrush: The head could be smaller for me - but that's probably just me, because my mouth is a bit small. That is really about it for cons for me, there are no real, big problems with this brush. Overall: The Oral-B Indicator is a decent toothbrush. There isn't really anything extra special about it, but there also aren't really any problems with it. If you are looking for an average, everyday, toothbrush, check out the Oral-B Indicator.

When you consider all the fancy brands of toothbrushes available these days, it is amazing that a manual toothbrush, which lets face it is less than a tenth the price of even the cheapest electric toothbrush, can be so effective and such good value. Last year when I flew to the UK, I couldn't take my electric toothbrush with me because the charger is not compatible. My Dentist had kindly given me an Oral-B Indicator Toothbrush and as I trust my Dentist implicitly, I had no problem taking my 'second best' option. Clearly this toothbrush's biggest attribute is the blue bristles in the middle of the brush which lose their blue color when it is time to change. This is helpful because over the years when staying with friends, I have seen some nasty surprises on the bathroom shelf with brush bristles going off in all directions and manky old toothpaste still left inbetween the bristles. This is not good hygiene and therefore I am thankful to the innovators at Oral-B for inventing such a concept. Hopefully it will catch on. My only negative comment on the brush handle itself is that it is rather slim and as such, it kept slipping round in my hand. The brush head is also on the smaller side and as I have a big mouth, would have preferred it if it were slighter larger.

The Oral-B Indicator Toothbrush is a toothbrush that is worth trying. I like to use it on my teeth when I brush. It reaches problem areas easily. It is a soft toothbrush, so it will protect tooth enamel. Hard toothbrushes can harm enamel. I like to brush my teeth three times a day or more. I don't brush my teeth for long because that can wear down tooth enamel as well. I brush my teeth immediately after eating candy or gum. I like to use this toothbrush after I have eaten foods that have acid in them. I like the angle of this brush. It reaches and cleans all my teeth effectively. This toothbrush will let you know when you need to throw it out. The blue indicator bristles will fade halfway to alert you. It is bad to use the same toothbrush for too long. This toothbrush might be a little hard to use on people with sensitive gums. The curves and grooves make this toothbrush easy to navigate. The design of this toothbrush is cute, and it has nice detailing on it. This toothbrush is worth the price. It is inexpensive to buy. I think the "Oral-B Indicator Toothbrush" will do a fair job on your teeth.

I've tried all of the common brands of toothbrushes to test what would be both comfortable and easy to use. This Oral-B toothbrush is simple yet fantastic-the best I've tried. Aesthetically pleasing, it comes in a variety of colors to suit everyone's taste. The grip is nice and very comfortable. The bristles are comfortable for my gums and teeth, no pain when I am brushing at all. The best part about this toothbrush is that the color fades so you know when to replace it; it makes me wonder why other products aren't this helpful! The money is well worth it and it's great to order this in bulk, so you have one prepared when the color fades after six months or so. After so many years of using Oral-B, it is nice to see quality continue in their new products. The only thing I'd change about this would be to have a curved neck instead of the straight one. That would make it more comfortable to reach the back teeth.

The only way the Oral-B Indicator toothbrush could be better is if it brushed your teeth for you! I love this toothbrush so much! I was given this toothbrush by my dentist at my regular teeth cleaning. It is a very simple, but yet very effective toothbrush. I don't have to work hard at getting my teeth clean. I apply gentle pressure and the bristles do a great job of scrubbing my teeth clean. The head size on this toothbrush is great too...not too large and not too small. I can effectively clean my teeth...all the way to the back parts easily. I love the indicator bristles as well. When they fade half way, it is time to get a new toothbrush. The dentist says to change out your toothbrush about every 3-6 months, but the indicator only starts to wear a little bit in 6 months. So, I change it when it starts to fade. The price isn't bad either for these toothbrushes although I was getting them from the dentist.

I've tried a lot of toothbrushes and this is my favorite. I especially like the compact head toothbrush. I talked to my dentist about it and he said the compact head works great for me because my front teeth are narrow and it reaches all the surfaces well. I have tried other toothbrushes and they just don't reach the surfaces as well. The indicator line is also helpful when I can't remember when I last replaced my toothbrush. When the indicator strip fades, it is time to replace my toothbrush. I have actually suggested to some of my friends and family members that they try the Oral B Indicator to see if they think it works better than what they are currently using. There was a time when I was not able to find any of the compact head Indicators in our local stores so I went online to find them. Fortunately they are again available in our local drug stores so I can purchase them. Over all, it works great and I feel like it cleans my teeth very well.

In this fast paced multitasking world we live in, it's nice to have one less thing to have to remember, and the Oral B Indicator does just that. I love that the blue indicator strip tells me when its time to replace it, instead of having to track the time myself - it's genius! I always choose soft brushes, because dentists say that people tend to brush too hard and damage their gums, and this one is a firm but gentle soft bristle. I like that they come in different colors so that my whole family can use them and have their own color, but I wish there were a few more colors, because at least in my family, we each have a favorite color and only want that color toothbrush. I have only seen them in two shades of Blue (dark and light), Green, Purple, and Pink, but would love the addition of a few more colors. Another thing I like about this toothbrush is that the head is not excessively large. Some of the other brands and types of toothbrushes I have tried felt so big that I felt like it was stretching out my face just to get it into all the hard to reach places. This one is a much more appropriate size.

I have been using Oral-B Indicator toothbrushes for several years. I haven't found another type I like better. The cool thing about these toothbrushes are the blue colored bristles near the center of the brush head. With continued use, these blue bristles fade from the top down. When they have faded halfway, that is the "indicator" that the bristles have worn to the point that you need to replace the toothbrush. Two other things I really like about this toothbrush - the design of the handle, and the choice of bristle firmness. The handle of the brush is ergonomically designed, so it has a curve to it. The design makes it comfortable to hold, and it doesn't slip around in your hand even when its wet. You can choose between small, medium, and large size heads, or soft to firm bristles. Great toothbrush! They only problem, the particular "Indicator Toothbrush" I like is getting rather hard to find.
