My Sonicare went belly up right before Christmas. I was devastated as I am known to have a real oral hygiene obsession. Needless to say that is not the time to spend $100 on a new toothbrush for myself. I found the Oral B Professional Care on sale at Macy's for a mere $50. It sat next to a new Sonicare priced at over $100. I opted for the more affordable option and bought my first Oral B rechargeable. I have to admit I was more than a little skeptical of the performance I expected from my new toothbrush. It was totally unfounded. I absolutely love my Oral B. It leaves my teeth feeling smooth and fresh. It came with several heads for polishing, sensitive and everyday use. It has never let me down. It holds a charge for days on end before I have to recharge it and I brush morning, noon and night. Sometimes we discover new and wondrous products out of necessity to cut back on our spending. I can tell you this was a happy discovery. My only complaint would be that I wish it came with a cover for the head.
