Having had a lot of dental pain and suffering throughout my life I can say that I should have invested in stock with this product. It works efficiently and fast for dental pain. It does numb your problem area and the only down side is the taste. The taste is tolerable compared to some of the other products that I have used, but I guess it could be worse. If you are using this product you are willing to be negotiable for the relief of the pain. I have used this product on my husband and children and it has been effective all the way. My son has a hard time with his teeth coming out and we have had to use this to help his discomfort in the process. I would recommend this product for anyone with dental discomfort and say that it is worth the cost. It is both cost efficient and a good product for the purpose of use. This product is sufficient for its purpose and our local dentist is the one who recommended it to my family for over the counter use.

I know this will sound crazy, but I use this product for more than just toothaches. I have always had canker sores in my mouth since I was a toddler and they can hurt so bad. I have tried all sorts of mouth rinses to numb the pain but nothing works better than Orajel Maximum. After having dental work done, this product was my best friend. I kept it on my night stand for when pains would return because it provides immediate relief. I burned the roof of my mouth one day with hot soup and the next day it still hurt. I simply rubbed some Orajel on it and the numbing agent allowed me to eat without pain. There have been many nights that I have had toothaches and the pain will keep me up. I would definitely recommend this product to others experiencing the same pain because I love how fast I get relief. This is a great product. It is easy to apply and I have never had any side effects from using this product.

Tooth pain and gum pain can be some of the most difficult pain to deal with. It affects your ability to eat and drink as well as your ability to speak (if the movement of air causes sensitivity). Sometimes it is not possible to get to a dentist immediately and this is so helpful to have in the interim. It deadens the nerve at the point of placement and temporarily provides relief. This will not heal an injury or cavity and you won't be able to avoid a dentist visit with this medicine, but it is a miracle worker if you are counting down the hours that you have to live with tooth pain until you can see the dentist. It is similar to the paste the dentist applies when he is going to give you a shot in his office. That same medicine numbs or at least reduces the level of pain in that area for a short period of time. This is not a long lasting medicine unfortunately, but this small tube will definitely be large enough for many applications.

Sometimes when you at least expect it, a toothache might hit you. As I have inherited very sensitive gums and teeth, I occasionally suffer from toothaches from time to time. A toothache is the most irritating and uncomfortable pain because simply taking an Aleve or Advil usually doesn't work fast enough for that kind of pain. Out of all the products promising toothache relief I have tried in the past, I find the Orajel Maximum strength gel to work the most effectively and quickly. I like having this product on hand in the house just in case. A little of the product goes a long way so one tube will last you for quite awhile. It kind of has a funny aftertaste which can be expected like other topical ointments for toothaches but that doesn't really matter when ur suffering pain from a horrible toothache. The Orajel comes in other forms but I found this particular one to work best for me.

This works quickly to numb tooth/gum pain quickly until you can get to the dentist. I think there are few things worse than pain from a toothache. If it's bad then taking Tylenol or Advil doesn't do much to alleviate the pain. You use just a tiny amount on the effected area and within a few minutes that area is numbed and the pain almost completely goes away. You will need to reapply every few hours. The medicine doesn't taste good and the numbing doesn't feel good, but none of that matters if the pain is bad. I'm comforted by the fact that I have this on hand because even if your dentist will accommodate you, you can bite on something at night and you will have to spend at least a night until you can get to the dentist in the morning and this medicine makes that pain manageable. I think this is only a temporary measure. I think this would be awkward to use for more than a few days and this doesn't fix anything, it just makes the pain manageable until you can get to the dentist.

As anyone who has suffered from tooth pain can attest to, is it by far one of the worst pains a person can feel. If you can't get any relief, tooth pain is unbearable! Orajel Maximum is definitely a must have if you've got tooth pain. Taking any pain killers in pill form takes a long time to kick in and they don't ever seem to completely take away tooth pain. Orajel Max works instantaneously. The relief is not only instant but it's also complete. Anyone with tooth pain knows how important both of those qualities are! My only complaint with Orajel Max would have to be the taste. The taste of this stuff is really pretty gross. That being said, it's a small price to pay in my opinion for the serious pain relief. Also, an interesting factoid about Orajel is that it will also work to relieve mosquito bites! The same numbing agent that takes care of tooth pain also works to relieve the itching associated with mosquito bites.

Growing up, I remember having a good amount of tooth pain. Whether it was from new molars growing in or just random pains, it seems I always used Orajel, as it was always on hand in my parent's house. Orajel is one of (if not the biggest) tooth pain relievers out there on the market, and I have used their children's version on my babies plenty of times. This is a product that really works, if your tooth pain is something that generally doesn't require an urgent trip to the doctors. I have used this on my bottom front teeth when there was some pain and it always stopped that pain rather quickly. I loved having something that I could rely on, especially when I was having the pain consistently (while waiting on my appointment to the dentists). The only reason I gave is a seven is because the taste is atrocious in my opinion. Maybe they have improved upon it in the time since I have used it last, but it was real bad. Not bad enough, though, to stop it from relieving my tooth pain!

A few years back I had a root canal done on one of my molars. I used the Orajel until I could get to the dentist to have the procedure done. I was very impressed with the way it worked. I used it for a total of almost 9 months. I had 3 root canals on the same tooth by 3 different dentists until I gave up and had the tooth eventually removed. I was relieved to find this product though because it eased the pain which made it easier to deal with. Had I not found this product I would have suffered miserably. The numbing sensation lasts a long time, You do not need to use a lot of this product or use it very often. It did not make my whole mouth numb like some numbing medications. You do not have to pack it with cotton or anything because it is a cream, almost jelly like. Great product for short term tooth pain, I would not recommend using for long term use as it says not to on the box. I recently started using the baby Orajel because my daughter is teething, The way I see it is if the product is safe for infants and children then it is okay to use.

Orajel Maximum Strength has a place in our household. It states on the tube that is is an 'Oral Pain Reliever for toothache'. It comes in a .42 ounce (11.9 g) tube. When we get toothache, then a tiny amount of the Orajel rubbed into the area, brings a numbing, and tingling feeling. It is only a temporary relief, but helps until you can get to a dentist. When this happens at a weekend, or you can't get an appointment, then it can be used as often as needed. I have dentures at well, and sometimes they rub. This is when this handy tube of Orajel Maximum Strength comes out. I can place it on the area, and continue to wear the denture. If I didn't have it, I would have to take it out, and I never do that. Orajel active ingredient is Benzocaine 20%. They do have other products in their range for mouth and lip sores, and denture pain, but I find that this works for me. For teething pain, there is a baby formula.

Orajel Maximum is a really good product for temporary relief from teeth and gum pain. it works rather quickly. it soothes and eases the pain . it does have a slight after taste but it is not that bad. Orajel is a brand I have used and am impressed with for many years. orajel Maximum works faster than other similar products.
