I have been using Opti-Free for my contacts for over six years and it has proven itself to be the safest and most effective contacts-cleanser.
For one, I don't even wash my contacts with solution often, and the most I replace the solution in my contacts case with new solution is maybe every two weeks - a LOT less than is recommended by eye doctors. Yet I've never gotten an eye infection or anything even close to it. In fact, I believe Opti-Free has the lowest record of people getting eye-infections from its use - Reno has a high number of people who've gotten eye infections because of it, and I'm not surprised. I tried using Reno for a little while because it's cheaper, but my eyes hurt more often and didn't clean my contacts as well.
There's a good reason eye doctors almost always give their patients Opti-Free - it's because it's the best. If you want clean, healthy contact solution, get Opti-Free, even though it's a little more expensive. It's worth it, and your eyes will thank you.
