OnlineConversion.com is the type of website that you don't need every day, but when you occasionally do need to convert something, you'll be glad you have it bookmarked. In a nutshell, Online Conversion lets you "convert just about anything to anything else." With over 5000 units and tens times more conversions, you can quickly determine exchanges in Length, Temperature, Volume, Weight, Cooking, Currency, Area, and even Clothing Sizes between countries.

I've personally found the online conversions to be helpful in cooking measurements. It's nice to quickly calculate how many tablespoons are in a 1/4 cup of milk (Answer: 4), or to learn that a "dash" of salt is equal to 0.125 teaspoon. I've also found that a half stick of butter is synonymous with 1/4 cup of butter, and -- on a totally different note -- that 10 feet = 3.048 meters.

In addition to all of the mind boggling conversions available on the site, there are also helpful calculators and charts. Online Conversion provides information on serious topics like density, angles, astronomy, and acceleration. However, you can also find "Fun Stuff," like the Pig Latin translator, Chinese Zodiac, Morse Code, Day you were Born, Weight on Other Planets, and much more.

Overall, OnlineConversion.com is an interesting website to learn something and have a bit of fun. It's not a site I visit every day, but it is definitely one that I immediately turn to when I need to convert something - anything! - to something else.
