This receiver has numerous options for configuring speaker setup, including supporting bi-amping for truly large di-pole speaker sound.  It supports all current decoding schemes (including Dolby 7.1) and future standards. 

Some feature highlights include:  Full HD bandwidth support, 7 band equalizer, 3 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI output, automatic speaker calibration and a host of digital inputs.

I am extremely happy with this receiver. Matched it up with a very nice pair of definitive speakers and the sound is absolutely amazing. It was very easy to set up with the microphone. You just sit where you normally sit and it does all the work for you!!! Great product

This Onkyo receiver is a really great value. While not too expensive, it has almost all of the features I would ever want. It sounds great, was easy to tune and really makes our big screen come alive. I would recommend it.

THE ONKYO HOME THEATER SYSTEM IS CONSIDERED A BIG PURCHASE FOR ME. THIS HAS EVERY FEATURE YOU COULD WANT, SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT AND ITS EASY TO USE, AS FAR AS USING THE REST OF YOUR ELECTRONICS TOGETHER WITH IT, ITS A LOT EASIER THAN I EVER THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. TOTALLY WORTH YOUR MONEY AND I KNOW IT WILL LAST.
