I had just started my first home theater system and bought 2 infinity primus 150 speakers and an infinity ps8 subwoofer. With the 150's only having a 100watt max power rating i needed a a/v reciever that had alot of goodies, a decent power rating that wouldnt fry my speakers, so all of that led me to the onky TX-SR304. This reciever set me back $180 at circuit city, very cheap for a 5.1 reciever (plus a low end onkyo can match most higher end recievers in sound quality due to their sound filters).
