low maintenance, walk with audio books, impressed with the quality of this
I have tried many pedometers and have found this one to be the most accurate and dependable of all. I had lots of trouble with others counting because of the need for them to be in a certain place or position. This omron is more versitle in that aspect. I did have minor problem with the clip, it stuck out a bit too far, my solution was to get a dollar store cell phone case with clip. The pedometer fits perfectly and I can still clip it where ever I want. I wear my omron HJ-112 everyday, and strive for 10K. I have not only recommended this pedometer, I…

budget conscious, cost-conscious, Every day computer user, a person who enjoys quality, a pet owner, a woman, trying to stay fit, looking for durability
My nutritionist recommended that I get this model of pedometer. I've never had one before, so I don't know what to expect from one. This one was pretty easy to set up. I don't use any of the advanced features on it, though. — My only complaints so far: — - I can't figure out a way to pause the pedometer (to have it not track steps even though I'm wearing it). Sometimes I want to do this when I'm on a hike where I don't feel the hike is a part of my daily routine and don't want it to record, but I forget to take it off before I start hiking. — - I don't like how I can't…

I had owned several pedometers before this one that I was unhappy with. I found some positive reveiws on this one and decided to give it a try - what a difference! I wear it every day and it accurately counts my steps once I got used to how it worked. It will only count steps after you've walked 10 in a row and aerobic steps are noted separately which is walking continuously for more than 10 minutes. It can be clipped to your waist or pocket but can also be placed in a pocket or purse and still count properly. It also has a safety strap to clip it to your waist…

I agree whole heartedly with all of the previous viewpoints. I've used other pedometers in the past and they would fall off and I would lose the batteries. Although this one has fallen off occasionally, it does stay on most of the time, . If it does fall off the battery cover stays put. I wear it almost daily and it is my incentive to get in between 10,000 and 12,000 steps a day, my personal goal. If I come home from work and it's only 8,000, I know only 20 minutes on the treadmill, no matter how tired I am, will allow me to reach my…

I've tried many, many pedometers and this is far and away the best one on the market. It has a 7 day memory, is small, lightweight, easy to use and program, just absolutely GREAT. — I've lost nearly 75 pounds in the year I've had mine--I wear it daily, and daily it serves as a reminder to get up and move my body. Obviously it has paid off for me and motivated me WELL. — Seriously, this is the best $20 bucks or so I've ever spent. Highly, highly recommended. I wouldn't bother with anything that's cheaper--they're either inaccurate, or not durable. — If you're looking to…

This pedometer is worth every penny. Amazon does have it the cheapest! What a motivator! I walk 10k steps 5 days a week. This keeps me motivated. You can see how many miles you walked, calories I burned, and the best aerobic steps. For every 10 minutes of nonstop walking they consider that areobic steps. It helps you see how many minutes you were able to get to the 30 minutes a day which I aim to get 6 out of 7 days. I can't say enough about this one. It is great. The most I have gotten was 20,000 steps in one…

I have had this pedometer for about a week now. It has a large easy to read display and is very easy to use. It appears to be well made and the clothing clip ensures that you won't lose it or accidentally drop it. It has been an eye opener to see how far away I am from the goal of 10000 steps per day. The one thing that I think should be improved is the abiltiy to change only one part of the data (like the stride length) without resetting everything including the time. —…
