Omni Mandalay Hotel - Irving, TX —
We booked a stay at their sister location in Dallas originally but due to overbooking were sent here. At first we were upset, but after arriving we were very impressed and actually happy we got moved. The lobby is done in a kind of asiany decor. There was a man playing piano and the place was just glowing. Due to some computer issues we even got a free drink at the bar and upgraded to a Suite. It was huge and so beautiful. HUGE plush bed. Bathroom was marble with a regular toilet and a baday. The balcony had a gorgeous view of the water-which supposedly has a black swan swimming about. We got room service and lived it up watching cable and enjoying some cocktails. The employees were so accomodating and apologetic to our situation.
