Not Happy With Olympus-SP-600UZ Digital Camera

Comments about Olympus - SP-600UZ Digital Camera:

I love to take pictures of family, landscapes and about anything!  I had a Canon camera for years and I decided to upgrade to a newer and better camera.  I read reviews and decided to go with Olympus.  I have tried to use this camera and kept going back to my old one.  I thought I just needed to use it more, so I put my old one away so it would not be handy and force myself to use this camera.  The lens cover is loose and does not stay on very well.  The dual image stabilizer does not work well.  I end up wilth lots of blurry pictures.  I love the 15x optical lens the ability that it can be a wide angle lens but it is difficult to get good pictures that I can enlarge.  When the pictures aren't blurry, I can get great landscape pictures and indoor pictures even at a distance.  I like the creative art filters.  For the price, I thought I would end up with a better camera.  I have given up and went back to my old Canon camera.

easy to use, great quality!

Comments about Olympus - SP-600UZ Digital Camera:

I love this camera! I enjoy photography as a hobby but am not quite advanced enough to use a DSLR. This Olympus camera strikes the perfect balance between being simple and easy to use and producing high-quality photographs. There is a wide range of lighting and shutter speed settings so that you can customize the look of your photographs even if you don't know a lot about how cameras work. This camera is much cheaper than a DSLR and does not require as much of an investment in terms of learning how to use it. For a point and shoot camera, it really creates excellent photographs, with beautiful color and perfect focus. It has a great zoom and high resolution. The memory cards are slightly expensive but have a very large storage capacity. The camera also has a decent battery life and is compact and easy to carry around. This camera also has video capabilities, which are very basic but come in handy sometimes. I would definitely recommend this camera to people who love photography but aren't ready for a DSLR.
