Olympus - Stylus 1000 Digital Camera
I have always loved the Olympus brand and It has proven to definately be one of the best. And this camera proves it thirty times over. The quality of the pictures are great and the zoom is pretty awesome for the price. It is very compact, lightweight, and easy to use (after getting used to of course). The black and white feature is really good. The flash is really good for this sort of camera and doesn't mess up a lot of pictures like most cameras do. Olympus - E-510 Digital Camera
I have owned the Olympus E-510 with the two kit lenses for about a year and a half. I have taken close to 1000 shots with it. It takes great photos and so-so photos. It really depends on you. Straight out of the box it takes pretty good shots. With a little knowledge and some tweaking it takes great shots. One suggestion read and learn. Read the manual, at least three times. Also google "Wrotniak". He has written a review and has some suggestions for tweaking the setting on the camera for optimal performance.
