For an in home job I was asked to paint a room and ceiling in a block home in northwestern Florida with Olympic Ceiling Paint, only sold in white. The retail reps and I were very skeptical about painting WALLS with ceiling paint!! The store reps weren't sure about tinting the product for wall use and I didn't want glaring white that is hard on the eyes and somewhat institutional looking, disturbing the future serenity of the bedroom sanctuary for the owner of the home or future owners.  The paint was absorbed like a sponge on the drywalled textured ceiling and used about 1/2 gallon with a roller brush on a warm, dry, sunny day. The end result was wonderful, and covered all stains except for a small area of rusty looking roof leak. The best part was the painting of the closet, a smooth plaster over concrete block.  The ceiling paint covered fast with brush and roller and dried within an hour using minimal paint.  The odor was not that unpleasant, and the coverage was great over the same tone with marks and stains.   I would consider tinting ceiling paint and using Olympic on the walls throughout the house!!
