I have had wonderful success using a [Squalane][1] product on my sensitive skin for the past few years. It has moisturized and kept my skin younger looking but when I tried ordering the product at the beginning of the year I was told that the product had changed.  Giving in to animal rights groups they were now making the olive derivative. I didn't place an order.  Because of those recent events, my mind has been mulling over olives and olive oil properties.  When I saw this **Olivella Moisterizer** on the store shelf it caught my eye.  The packaging is simple and classic.  I was hoping the product would be the same.  Upon closer inspection, I read that olive oil has been used for centuries in Italy to moisturize.  This product also claims to have the antioxidant, vitamin E added as well as anti-aging properties.  Olivella is also made from all natural items including, yep, you guessed it, squalene. I decided to give it a try.  After a couple month's of use I have had nice results.  There haven't been any break-outs and my face is soft and supple.  The moisturizer feels a lot like my old squalane product.  It absorbs fairly fast and doesn't feel the least bit greasy. I always spend a lot of time researching beauty products before buying them. I have never found a moisturizer that I really love so I did a search on Amazon based off customer reviews and this was at the top of this list. A few months ago I received a sample of an olive oild cleanser from DHC which I loved, so I was intrigued to try this. I was not disappointed when it arrived and I tried it - love the sweet, natural smell, goes on smooth (feels more like a serum than an oil) and left my skin feeling soft. Also love that I am putting natural ingredients on my face! Based off all the amazing, glowing reviews I read, I think my expectations were a little too high (I think I expected a drastic difference in my skin) but have nothing negative to say about this product. Will only be able to use it for a couple more months until I start spending more time out in the sun and will need a moisturizer with spf but am looking forward to seeing what this product will do over time!
