To the Point

When my friend suggested that we go to the new Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Plymouth, MA I was delighted. It had been awhile since I'd been to one. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Of all the over rated restaurants I have ever seen, Olive Garden is the worst. I kept hearing from friends how wonderful the salad and bread sticks were and how authentic the food was. The salad is ordinary and the bread sticks aren't very fresh but they are provided in large quantities in hopes of distracting... review »

From the moment you walk in, the sweet smell of the fresh baked rolls goes right through to your stomach causing the juices that make an appetite!  Although you might have to wait for a table--it's sure worth it--they also have a well stocked bar with low tables and of course a bar with a tender.  They can also deliver a appetizer if the wait exceeds 15 minutes or more--the wine list can be also studied while you wait .

When you are called to your table you are promptly seated.  Your waitress can now hand the menu so you can make a choice and of course gives the special of...

I've given the Olive Garden several tries in various locations.  Each time, it's the same.  The wait staff is very friendly in the beginning, but once they've served your food, it's a cold day in hell before they check back on you to see if you need anything.  The second thing is the salads are always wet, dripping with water, the bread is stale and well, I guess about the only thing I like about this place is the wine..... sort of.   The pasta is okay, but I've at least given it about six tries and at all locations, the pasta has been practically luke or room temperature by the time it hits...

On 8/21 went to the Plymouth Olive Garden with my wife at approx 2:45 pm In the bar lounge area were two empty booths and three tables. The Hostess and greeter refused our request to sit in the booth and with their bad attitude as if we were not wanted, They said there was no servers available( OH REALLY) They began to look at each other and rolled their eyes...When I saw that, my wife and I left....If I owned a restaurant and had greeters like that...They would be looking for new work....I have had this experience before by the same people but enough is enough...When greeted by others, it...

We went to this restaurant for the first time last year. We got seated quickly. And received our food quickly.  Other people had told us the food was bad, but I was open miinded and wanted to try for myself as I love italian food.  There salad was brown. so pushed that aside. then they brought the spaghetti. Now that tasted like it came out of a jar. and a very poor quality type at that.

When my husband and i want a quiet lunch out of the house we go to the Olive garden in Hyannis MA. The staff are freindly and quick. The soup and salad is to die for. The sausage soup is the best. Spicy and rich. Refills welcome. Salad is basic but filling with breadsticks that are hot. I have enjoyed this resturant now for 2 years.

The Olive Garden offers large portions of good Italian food at reasonable though not cheap prices. That pretty much sums up the reason why I grab the chance to eat there whenever the opportunity arises.
Why do I like the Olive Garden so much? Several reasons. First of all, they offer unlimited breadsticks and salad with every meal. Their breadsticks are warm, chewy on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, infused with a garlicky butter glaze, and quite simply delicious. Their salads almost always use fresh lettuce without any brown spots or wilting and their vinaigrette dressing is tart...

I've eaten at Olive Gardens all over and it's great to know if you run across the familiar sign, the food will be good, the prices are reasonable and the service is fairly standard.  It's a comfort while you travel and a nice place to chill when you're in town at home and don't want to experience anything too new or different... but just want the comfort and security of a pleasant and casual dining experience.

I love the level of attention from the waitstaff.  They are attentive without being annoying and they cater to you in every area without trying to be your best friend.  I'm not sure who...

I had a great time there, the people were very friendly. There were many choices to choose from, and with a picky family, this place was great! There were many choices of drinks, appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, and desserts. The waiter was understanding and friendly. He always came to make sure that everything was alright, and was not too overwhelming. The food came out in a timely manner, which was great for us. The food is reasonably priced for our lifestyle and was a great time out of the house. The waiter also brought over some crayons and coloring papers for the kids to color stuff...

This particular Olive garden in Plymouth, Ma. is located in a very nice area. We were greated by the hostess who was very friendly and polite. The waitress gave us enough time to look over our menus but not to long that we thought she got lost. As always we are offered a sample of the wine of the day. This afternoon we were there for the soup, salad and breadsticks. The waitress was friendly and promt with the salad. As always there salad is fresh the lettuce is crisp and seasoned to perfection. The breadsticks are so warm and soft as fresh baked homemade rolls. I always order the zuppa...

The Olive Garden firstly seems to represent a more Northern Italian taste and an even a mediocre attempt at that! They also use more grossely seasoned cream sauces then  necessary to Italian Cuisine in general which in vitro is actually a very simple cuisine. That is real Italian Cuisine uses natural ingredients along with certain natural herbs to complete its taste. The flavor therefore comes mainly from the combination of natural ingredients.

In all honesty i cannot give "The Olive Garden" high marks for Excellent Italian Cuisine although it is better then those restuarants that completely botch...

I've been in love with Olive Garden's food for years, maybe pushing a decade by now. My best friend and I would eat there at every chance when we were just out of high school. I love the soup, salad, and breadsticks because it is budget friendly, yet filling. My favorite dish is Fetticine Alfredo. My mouth is watering just by typing this.
Now that I'm married, my husband and I go there as often as we can. We absolutely LOVE the never ending pasta bowl and we wished it never ended! Every time we go there, we have great food and fantastic service. They have also been offering some really...

I have ate at many italian restaurants and this is by far the best. They have a wide variety of food to choose from.  They have the bottom less salad and the bottom less soup which is very good also. I have tried many of the soups but the Sausage and Potato is in my opinion the best of all.  If they did not put the dressing on the salad and offered other dressings that would make it even a little better.  For the amount of food you get the price is also very reasonable. Olive Garden also offers a great atmosphere to eat in whether it be 2 or 10 of us. The staff is very friendly at this... review »
