Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation is one of the jars that came in my 7-piece skin care kit from Sephora. The kit came with a cleanser, day moisturizer, night moisturizer, eye gel, collagen serum, night gel and a walnut scrub. Besides the eye gel, I have enjoyed all the products including this one. Absorption This product provides the perfect amount of moisture my face needs as a night moisturizer. It absorbs nicely and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and healthy. It's not greasy at all, just creamy and after a minute or so, it's fully absorbed. Effectiveness When I first got this, I did a test where I put this on one side of my face and used nothing on the other side. When I woke up the next day, I felt both sides of my face to see if I would notice a difference and I did! The side that I used this on the previous night was WAY softer and healthier feeling than the side that I didn't. As for effectiveness of wrinkle protection, I'm not sure. I only really have slight crow's feet, so I can't attest to how well this works for that purpose.

  What I expect in a cream (like Sheer Transformation by Ole Henriksen) is first; that the product meets the majority of what the product claims in can do for skincare. In other words, if it is intended to nourish and restore a better, healthier and more youthful skin completion, then I would expect it to give me improved results as opposed to not using the product (status quo). I enjoyed this product because my skin felt hydrated in the morning without feeling heavy and oily. For the age of my skin (age range of approximately 25 to 30 years old), I'm looking for a product that will reduce fine lines around the eyes and on the forehead. I want my complexion to appear smooth and vibrant. This product helped me maintain that goal by providing extra hydration and nutritious ingredients. Plus, it smells good (no one wants to sleep next to someone that has smalls like a chemical factory). Bonus points on having a light fresh aroma.

I love the texture of this day cream. It glides on smoothly and effortlessly. It also gives a slight cooling feel. I just love it. It moisturizes great and stays soft and supple until the end of the day. Just a little goes a long way too. I can't get enough of it! It's hard to find, but worth the search and the price.
