A very unique scent...

4

I purchased a bottle of OSC as a Christmas gift for my uncle; the next day I purchased my own and am very satisfied with this very good retro scent; ALSO I must mention Old Spice Foxcrest Cologne; its seems to be a twist on the original scent, and I might like it a bit more than the original. Very recommended, so buy it before they discontinue it.

Strong and Manly

4

My husband like to wear Old Spice Cologne. To me I think it represents a classic and rugged appeal. I find it to be very overpowering when he first sprays it on and then after a few minutes it's an okay scent I guess. It is manly if that's what your man is into. It is rather spicey too just like the name. It kinda smells like an aftershave product rather than a spray. It's cheap in price - definitely one of the cheapest colognes out there that lasts throughout the entire day. I think this one is for all the country boys / cowboys / and rednecks out there. There is definitely a country appeal in it. I'd say get this for a cheap stocking stuffer this year - and remind your hubby that a spray or two is enough - because it's strong! This cologne has been around forever and I think I know why - men want to smell like, well, men! There are too many cologne's these days that smell feminine that are labeled for men. This one's for a real man!

Old Spice Cologne is a classic!

5

I grew up around men wearing Old Spice, and still love the smell!  It brings back memories of the very special men in my life - my father, grandfather, uncles, and I remember buying Old Spice for them many times for birthdays and Christmas. Yes, I suppose men today prefer the newer, "cooler" colognes, and I'll admit many of them smell very nice, too. But there's just something about the Old Spice.... I like to buy the Old Spice gift sets at Christmas time, and you can get some good deals with those.  Definitely check them out for any "older" men you have to buy for, because chances are, they've used Old Spice at some point in their lives.  The gift sets come with cologne or after shave paired with deodorants (this is the most common set I've seen), and sometimes there's coupons in the papers close to Christmas for them - a great deal! Our local Wal-Mart carries Old Spice, and at Christmastime they carry the gift sets, too.

old spice is always so memorable!!

I always remember an Old Spice man!  A classic fragrance that is right for any occassion. I don't know why they bothered to make different varieties. You cannot improve on the best. I think the fragrance is oh so sexy, It just shows that a great fragrance does not have to cost a fortune! This is a fra grance that most any lady would enjoy cuddling up to gentleman! Enjoy the way the ladies look back at you as you walk by to see who is wearing Old Spice. ou will be amazed at the attention you will receive. It is also long lasting. Don't make the mistake a lot of my men friends do. A little goes a long way! For some reason fragrance seems to "stay" with a man well. Just because you can't smell it doesn't mean that no one else can. Even a good fragrance can be bad if it is too strong. It is better to have  to reapply for evening than put the entire dose on at once!!! I will be "sniffing" for all those new Old Spice men!!

Call me old fashioned but its good.

Old spice has been around for ages.  Yet, it still has a masculine smell without being overwhelming.  The scent can be too strong at times, but at least this colognes odor will last most of, if not all day long.

Love Old spice cologne on my husband

4

I would say as a wife to my husband who surely is loyal to Old spice cologne, this cologne smells good. He has used it for several years and i cannot say anything bad about this product. He purchases it from a discount perfume store and puts it on everytime after he takes a shower. Wow, it smells good. I feel like its my husband's personal identity, it has a unique smell that i like, i only hated it when i was pregnant, but we became friends after i gave birth. He really does smell like a man, most of his clothes has that same scent of Old spice cologne until when washed, that gioes to show how long you can smell good without worrying about the sweat smell. He puts it on the face a little bit, arms and all Wow. I would recommend it to the men and young men who want to feel good and smell good simultaneously. Money well spend on this cologne. A must have for mature grown man who wants to feel good as well. Good scent, unforgetable

works great for sensitive skin

5

This is the only deodorant my husband can use.  My husband has sensitive skin and gets rashes with almost every deodorant he's ever tried.  He's even tried women's Secret deodorant which is rumored to be the best for sensitive skin but that made him break out.  Even other Old Spice scents make him break out in rashes.  Going without deodorant is not an option.  He is a roofer in Florida and he sweats profusely, especially when installing a hot tar roof.  With this deodorant he doesn't have to worry about rashes or chafing.  Not only is it sensitive, it also works well and lasts almost all day. I like the smell of this deodorant because it doesn't smell like deodorant.  It smells more like cologne.  And the smell isn't strong enough to clash with any colognes he does wear from time to time. My only complaint is that this deodorant is not easy to find.  It seems like Old Spice comes out with a new scent everyday and I pray that they don't get rid of the classic.

I love this classic scent!

As a woman with a sensitive nose I find it extremely hard to find a scent that does not make me sneeze like crazy. Old spice is a classic scent that is good for any ocassion especially one where you want your signifigant other to smell delicious.  It does not linger after you use it like most sprays or other colognes and I love that about it. With most that my husband has tried, as soon as he used it I would begin coughing and sneezing and could taste it in my mouth and have to leave the house, literally gaggingand choking from the smell that had invaded my lungs and mouth. It is not harsh and yet it has a strong manly scent that is alluring to most women that I know. When I smell it, it takes me back to sunday mornings in my childhood getting ready for church or sitting at a family dinner gathering with all the men watching sports and smiling, afternoons by the lake fishing and having a picnic, all of these are good and leave me with a happiness that I just cannot shake after I smell this classic scent. The scent always brings a smile to my face and if I had to use words to describe the scent itself  this is what comes to my mind : sensitive yet strong, hardworking, safe and happy.I think it is great for an older gentleman, looking to make his other swoon at the smell of him or a younger man looking to make a lasting good impression on his significant other.Men should always keep this in mind: classic is always a good choice and you can never go wrong with an old favorite. They not only have the cologne now but also a shaving cream, deoderant and a body wash that just adds to the impact of this classic scent and any of these make for great stocking stuffers or general gifts to your loved ones.

old spice colonge is a great fragrence as long as your 65+

2

Okay first off I want to say contrary to my rating the colonge isn't that bad. It does have a nice not too overpowering musky smell to it. BUT the smell itself says Grandpa. My grandfather died recently and one of the things he left behind was this colonge. I got it and thought I would try it out one night when I was going to a bar. I didn't think it was bad as I said earlier it wasn't overpowering which is one of the things I look for in a fragrence. Well I was at the bar for probably four hours and in that four hours I literally had three count them three women come up to me or pass by me and say that was the same smell that there grandfather had. They all said it in there own little ways but they got there point across for sure. Maybe that was there pick up line and I just didn't read it, but if it was they should start looking for new ones because it made me feel terrible. So my word of advice to anybody reading this who is looking into buying it would be to leave it on the shelf at the store UNLESS you are an older gentleman or a teenager trying to get on grandma's good side if you know what I mean.

There's a reason your Dad wore this one!

5

Too many younger men overlook Old Spice. They associate it with their dad wearing it or even their grandfather wearing it.  But they miss the simple fact that there's a reason their dad's and granddads wore it.  It has been a favorite for generations because LADIES LOVE IT!  When I worked in a discount store cosmetics department, just the aroma escaping through the boxes while stocking the Old Spice would have me riled up and ready for romance all afternoon.  It's got  an almost magnetic quality to it for me, and apparently a lot of other females.  If my husband wears it out in the evening, I can count on girls commenting on it.   It's a classic.  It's warm and spicy and manly.  Old Spice is a fragrance that says mature and suave and sexy and confident. Old Spice says you're not hung up on fancy bottles or pricey labels or catchy commercials.  It says you know you're smooth and you know what you like.  It's not a boy's cologne, it's a MAN's cologne.  If you're the kind of guy who's interested in appealing to girls who are more attracted to a crisp fresh ironed button-down shirt  than to an Abercrombie and Fitch tee shirt and "distressed" jeans, Old Spice is going to be a cologne choice worth trying.  Old Spice isn't old like ear hair and black socks with sandles and bermuda shorts pulled up to your underarms.  Old spice is old like classic cars and martinis and suits.  It's not Lawrence Welk.  It's Frank Sinatra.
