My son, who is twelve, is picky about his clothes.  He wants so badly to fit in and have hip clothes, but I have a hard time affording them.  However, at Old Navy, both of my kids (I have a seven year old too) can get the clothes they like at a price that wont break me.

The best thing about Old Navy is finding items in the clearance area.  They are always putting new merchandise out on clearance, and you can get the stuff DIRT CHEAP!  I'm talking shirts, shorts, belts, and even shoes for a fraction of what they were originally.  I've spent as little as two or three dollars!  And the clothes are durable, and don't look like something you've found on clearance.

You'll also find great unisex shirts during holidays like Indepence Day.  Every year they come out with a new style with the year on it. I think I have Old Navy shirts dating back to 2005!  And I still rock every one of them!  (hey, why throw a good shirt away)

During the summer, you can pick up your bathing suits and cover ups, sandals, beach bags....you name it!   You can even pick yourself up a volleyball, a frisbie, and other fun beach games right at the checkout stand.  They've always got fun little things lined up beside each register.  Impulse shop much?

And during Christmas you can find so many Christmas gifts all over the store.  They carry Christmas stockings, doggie toys, agendas, and other cute items.  (again by the checkout stands)

If you have to buy a baby shower present, go to Old Navy first!  Chances are, you'll find baby items on clearance.  Like I said, they ALWAYS have awesome clearance items.  Just last month I picked up three onesies, matching pants & jacket for under $ 10.00.  TEN DOLLARS!  You can't beat that.

Good points. Good review. The only thing I haven'r liked about Old Navy was during the summer the dyes used on someof the ladies cotton tops looked like the kind that would easily fade after a few washings. Apart from that, not a bad selection.

I have never shopped at Old Navy! I may need to since everything especially clothes are so high now.

I agree it's a good store. One of my nephews went through a phase where he wanted orange clothes. Old Navy had them - so it was easy to get a unique Christmas gift for him.
