When I found out I was pregnant, I couldn't wait to see what I would look like with a big belly, but dreaded all the maternity clothes I would have to buy. Just another expense to go along with having children. I started shopping for maternity clothes just after my first trimester (when I started feeling like I could actually go into a store and not get sick). A couple of my friends told me about a couple of higher end clothing stores that they really liked. So naturally I went into the stores and was like "YIKES" these clothes are more money than I would spend on my non-maternity clothes. Then that great moment came in the "in-box" of my e-mail. Old Navy was having a sale on "Maternity Clothes"...a fairly new line of clothing had just blossomed. I started going through page after page after page of clothing. Everything was so well priced and they actually had a selection that made me feel stylish about my expanding belly. I think 80 percent of my maternity wardrobe ended up being from Old Navy. I can't say that there is really anything negative about their maternity clothing, but I can tell you one very important positive thing....they send you a prepaid envelope with your order...if you do not like what you ordered, simply put it in the envelope they provided and put it in your mailbox. THAT alone....had me. As my belly grew my desire to go shopping became less and less. Just knowing that when I needed a materity bathing suit I could order it, ship it for $5 or free depending on their offers, and try it on at the convenice of my own home. If I didn't like it, back into the prepaid envelope and back it went with no hassles of dragging my big bellied pregnant self out to the store. Old Navy is definitely worth the time on the internet shopping.
