Olay Daily Facials Cleansing Cloths Review

No matter how dirty your face gets or how much make up you wear, Olay Daily Facials Hydrating Cleansing Cloths will get them clean. Grease, powder, creme, eyeliner, mascara... spackle, tar... you name it. These things work.

Back when I was taking special effects makeup classes in Pasadena, CA, I used these every night at the end of class, otherwise, I'd look like I was driving through Los Angeles in the middle of the night with a gaping head wound one night or a man with a beard another night. Package

White box with flip top lid just large enough to hold 30 cloths. Each cloth is folded over twice, and has a soft side and an exfoliating/rough scrubbing side. Each cloth is also infused with plenty of moisturizing cleanser.

Product

Run a still folded cloth under warm water and unfold, and squeeze and it'll immediately lather up. Unfold it and you'll have a full washcloth sized cloth to work with.

Use

I use the scrubbing side first. Making sure my eyes are closed very tightly, I scrub first at my eyes, paying attention to the top eyeliner and mascara marks, then down to my lips with another part. Then I take the rest of the cloth and swipe it over my whole face. With your eyes still closed, run your cloth under the water and with the soft side, swipe over your eyes first. there will still be some soap on them, but you should be able to open them without getting any soap in them. (If you do, just rinse it out with water. You're already there at a sink, so there you go). Use the soft side of the cloth that still has a little soap left and wrap it around the tip of your finger and carefully clean off your eyeliner and mascara. Repeat all around your eyes until no make up shows up on the cloth.

REMEMBER: The skin around your eyes is extremely delicate. Only clean with the soft side of the cloth and instead of scrubbing, opt to use several gentle passes with the cloth.

Now rinse the cloth completely (makeup will stay stained on, but there should be no more traces of soap after a few rinses) and use the soft side of the cloth to rinse your face clean.

Pat dry with a clean towel and voila! Makeup and dirt free.

Don't forget

Even though these are moisturizing, they're still a cleanser. So don't forget to moisturize after use, anyway. Use your favorite facial moisturizer and it'll take to your face like crazy because your skin will be so exfoliated and clean!

What now?
