Ol' Roy (Walmart) Regular Dog Food —

Ol' Roy dog food is the Wal-mart brand made for larger dogs. We were trying out new brands of dog food to see what our two dogs liked the best when we ran across it. We bought it without researching it because it was the cheapest and looked on the bag like any other food, but when we got it home and fed it to our dogs, they both started to have digestion issues (vomiting and diarrhea) withing a few hours. They were both miserable and in a lot of pain, so we decided to read up on the food to see what others had to say. We found out that the fat content is quite a bit higher in Ol' Roy than in most others, and it was known to cause the issues we were experiencing as well as sluggishness and obesity. We decided that rather than throw it away we would mix it with another food with less fat and they both did better after that, but the Ol' Roy brand alone for our dogs was very hostile and I wouldn't recommend that you change to any food without reading up on it first.
