Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser is a miracle product for people like me who have both oily hair and oily skin. I have sweeping bangs that graze the oiliest part of my face, the forehead. Before discovering Ojon's dry shampoo, I washed my hair every single day. Now, I can skip a day! Yay!

Ojon says their Rub-Out Cleanser is "enriched with Amazonian White Clay, Silk Powder, Rice and Potato starches, it helps refresh and treat hair and scalp by helping remove impurities, absorb excess oil and product as it increases hair volume at the roots." The combination of starches and pleasant scents make this styling product a shower in a bottle for hair. Seriously, this stuff smells great! Very clean and subtle. I don't feel like I dumped a bunch of perfume on my head. In the past I used Original Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder to freshen hair between showers. Although I'm a huge fan of the clean baby bum scent, I don't really want to smell like one.

I found out the hard way that you must shake the bottle pretty vigorously before each use. (Ojon's web site recommends up to a minute of shaking!) This ensures the starches don't clump together and clog the pump.

I definently recommend Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleansers. Only moderate amounts are needed each use so one bottle lasts for quite a while. I hate spending money on pricey, high-end hair products that run out in a month. Ojon hair care products seem to be sufficiently sized for the price.

My local Ulta store here in Chicago sells Ojon Rub-Out for $22. You can also find it at Sephora, Nordstrom and Amazon.com.

I like to mix it up sometimes so if anyone has other dry shampoo recommendations please let me know. Although, I'm more than pleased with this product, it's only the first dry cleanser I've tried. There could always be better ones out there!

Well, isn't this neat! I'm also plagued by the sweeping bangs syndrome, but haven't seen a dry shampoo in decades. I'll try Amazon. This would be especially useful in hot weather, I'd think. Thanks for the info!

I tried a can of spray shampoo once and it felt like dust in my hair all day long. I will give this one a try.
thanks!

Huge fan of Ojon dry shampoo! (I have a small bottle from about a year ago that dispenses a lemon scent, baby powder looking substance.) I normally use it as a way of touching up my hair before going out at night by using a small quantity directly to my part for extra volume. This is a great product because it allows me the chance to look like I showered and got ready all over again. The secret is all mine, well now it's yours to share as well!
