As an artist, I'm always looking for quality supplies. Prismacolor pencils, pastels and markers are, in my opinion, the best art supplies you can find. — They're not your every day drawing pencils or colored pencils. So, I suggest on holding off on purchasing them for your young child because they are expensive, but I must say, well worth the price because of how nice and smooth the pencils draw/color and how long they last.
