Office Space Review Summary

Reviewers consider Office Space "the ultimate medicine for anyone who works in an office!" They're also asking, "if you haven't seen it, where have you been?" This comedy classic about the drudgeries of working in an office stars Ron Livingston and Jennifer Aniston, and is said to be "like a real life Dilbert. If you like The Office on NBC, you'll surely like this. "As long as there are workers in cubicles, [Office Space] will be watched on Friday and Saturday nights." Reviewers advise that "if you have ever worked in an office, had an obnoxious boss, or wanted to kick the crap out of that copy machine that's been taunting you, this is the movie for you."

This is one of those movies where I must say "If you haven't seen it, where have you been?" Office space fits into the category of Classics and for me depicts office life, and office environments very very well!

Plot
Peter is works in a cubicle and hates his job. Every day just seems worse.  When he arrives at Inetech, Peter is approached by not 1 but 3 people asking him if he got the memo since he forgot to put a coversheet on his TPS report.  To top it all off, the whole office is worried about the consultants that are coming to interview everyone. Their dull and boring, but stable jobs are...

If you have ever sat at a desk in a huge room of gray cubicles, you've probably had an Office Space experience. I loved this movie. I love ironic humor anyway...

The film begins with Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) starting yet another day as an IT guy at the Initech company, which is busy fixing code in software for the "Y2K" switch. Moments after he sits down, his boss Bill Lumbergh (Gary Cole) alerts him to the fact that he used the wrong cover sheet on his "TPS Report." He admits the mistake, and said yes, he did get the memo about the new cover sheets. In the next few minutes, two of his other...

Office space is the movie that all the Software engineers, Computer workers should definitely watch..

Not to learn something good for our work but how to hate our cubicle work in our daily life and to get to rid of it and do some physical work and live by it..

My conclusion
(ideas for life):

Look at the Peter's character in tht film,  he wants a relaxed life, He says "I would do nothing if im a millionaire" and "I would sit in my house and relax and wud do nothing" and finally he quits his boring job and does a labour work with his cool friend and lives happily. yeah thts all we are looking for all...

When Office Space came out, I found myself working in a cubicle in an office of nearly 300 cubes!  I thought that the creepy guy that was following me around had finally broke down and made a movie and called it 'Office Space.'

This movie is original, funny, and an instant classic.  As long as there are workers in cubicles, this movie will be watched on Friday and Saturday nights by all that are forced to live eight hours a day in walls made of carpet and stand only a few feet tall.  It's like a real life Dilbert.

If you don't have this movie, go buy it...don't rent it because you will just...

Okay I saw that one of my friends reviewed this and I had to review also because this movie is AWESOME! Petter Gibbons who works for Initech has a boring life, he has the same old routine over and over everyday constantly getting yelled at for not having his TPS reports done or done correctly and he sucks it up and just agrees and takes the abuse of his annoying boss Bill Lumbergh. Bill Lumbergh is so annoying and in every part of the movie he's in he throws in a "mmmmmmmm....Yeah....." and you just want to attack him! Peters girlfriend finally takes him to this Hypnotist who in the middle of hypnotizing...

Allright, first and foremost, this is in my personal opinion one of the funniest movies of all time. Even if you were to take away the crude language, hilarious cast and comedy genious of Mike Judge it would still be funny simply because everyone can relate to this movie.

But, my personal opinion aside I'm here to write a review.

Office Space by Mike Judge has been a clut classic ever since its relase in 1999. Based on animated shorts done by the creater depicting a character called Milton, and a brand of humor Judge is infamous for.
The story revolves around Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston), an...

I love a good comedy movie and I think Office Space is one of the best. When you work in a cubicle all day, you can really identify with the characters. Their quirks make you think of the people you work with all day and can take frustrating habits and turn them into something funny. Office Space is a movie you can watch over and over. Overall, I would highly recomend it, and people who identify with the work place will love it.

This movie is a modern classic. It has characters that many people will recognize or identify with. There are many underlying themes that can be applied to ones own life in regards to stress management, balanced control in relationships, karmic repercussions, integrity and other values. It shows the importance of patience, confidence, and pursuit of happiness.

Office Space is one of the funniest movies.  You will go into work on Monday trying to match up people in your office with people in the movie.  It is about a regular guy who gets dumped and has a dead end job with a boss that is a shmuck, but things change for him with a lot of funny twists.  It is just hilarious!  Watch it!!

There's NOTHING bad about this movie! It's so funny, and anyone can relate:  the creepy boss, the bad salary, the long days, the weird co-workers.  There's not one unnecessary, unfunny, or boring scene in the whole movie.

With company cut back, this move is so close to real life its almost not a comedy.  But it fun to make the comparisons.   I just need a red stapler :)
