The Octane Q37e is definitely a really excellent machine - very ruggedly build, wonderful displays, very good exercise motion, all with a fairly small footprint.
Be very cautious of one thing though: Cleaning the wheels. Everybody emphasizes how quiet the Q37e is, but if you don't clean its wheels very diligently, it'll rapidly become annoyingly noisy. If you're a big-time sweater like me, you want to clean it after every use. Also wear a T-shirt while you exercise, to soak up your sweat and thereby reduce the amount that gets onto the tracks. In my case, since I'd drop sweat all over it if I were to clean it after use, I clean it pretty much every day before use, rather than after.
Also, you can clean other parts of it with Formula 409, but don't clean the wheels and tracks with anything other than water, water with a little bit of soap, or possibly Lysol (or similar) cleaning wipes.
Also, never never never put silicon or other lubes on the wheels or tracks!
This noise issue is especially of concern if you are comparatively heavy.
With ours, we failed to clean it sufficiently often, and it started getting a bit loud. Dumb ol' me thought I'd fix that by putting silicon lube on the tracks. Big mistake. It got much louder. We wiped that off, and frequently cleaned it with Formula 409. The store who sold it to us told us to clean it with 409, but we didn't understand that that does not apply to the tracks or wheels. We've replaced the wheels recently, and it's starting to get a little noisier, but upon cleaning it with water, it's definitely improved.
