This product is amazing. The sunscreen protects my entire family from the suns harmful rays. Effectiveness Works very well. I have only been burned once while using this sunscreen in 5 years. The coverage is awesome but does need to be reapplied every 2 hours especially if you are in the water. I allow the product at least 15 mins to absorb into my skin before going outside the first time and then before going into the water each consequitive time. Scent I love the smell of sunscreen in general but this Ocean Potion sunscreen is tops. It has a very light fragrance that smells almost fruity mixed with the traditional sunscreen fragrance. Very pleasant for everyone in the family to use, even with our sesitivities to smells due to allergies. Absorption This goes on amazingly non-greasy and absorbs very fast. I use a fairly good amount of sunscreen on my children and myself and it always amazes me how well this absorbs and how fast it does compared to other brands I have used.

Let's face it.  It gets to be a little confusing buying sunblock, especially when you have a kid that has sensitive skin.  After reading lots of labels I close Ocean Potion SPF 50 for Kids.  The label tells you it's PABA free and hypo-allergenic, water and sweat resistant.  We have a pool and it seems to stay put and give good protection even after swimming for awhile.  Of course you still have to reapply but it is water resistant as it claims.  Ocean Potion does not feel as greasy and sticky as some other products I have tried.  I find it's fairly easy to wash from my hands after applying to the kids skin unlike some other products which I felt I was wearing all day! The smell of this product is clean and fresh, not overpowering so my boy doesn't complain about it.  All in all I feel like I have found a really good sunblock product.  After using it for several "pool weather" weeks we have had no sunburn.

My daughter has very sensitive skin and a lot of other sunblock burns her skin.  Ocean Potion sunblock is very gentle on my daughter's skin.  Since we have started using it she has never had any problems with it.  I have recommend this sunblock to other people who has sensitive skin.

Ocean Potion SPF 50 Kids Sunblock is wonderful. This sunscreen stays strong and give my son the protection that he needs from the sun. This sunscreen stays on in the ocean and can't be sweated off. I love that it sprays on!

Over the course of the summer, well the spring and fall too, we use a lot of sunscreen! My favorite is Banana Boat, but last summer on vacation, we needed more sunscreen and the store we were in did not have any Banana Boat. I found Ocean Potion Suncare, SPF 50 Kids Sunblock, water and sweat resistant, and thought I would give it a try. The price was comparable to my Banana Boat, and it was an SPF 50. I never buy anything less than that.  I was pleasantly surprised. It went on easy, and worked well. It is even a broad spectrum sun protection with parsol 1789, which I had read was really good for the kids, so that made it easier to go ahead and try it. My kids have red hair, and sunburn easy, as well as my husband who sunburns easy, all use this and I was happy to say that no one got burned while we were using this. That is a major accomplishment. We have to apply sunscreen much more regularly than directed on the bottles to keep our fair skinned family from burning. Which is one reason we go through so much sunscreen in the year. We also tend to start applying sunscreen earlier i nthe year than most people, mid to late spring, all the way through fall. My husband can get a sunburn at a late fall football game, so we keep alot of sunscreen around the house. I have my favorite, but if it is not available, I will gladly buy the Ocean Potion in it's place.
