Obagi Obaji Skin Care System Review

The Obaji system is a set of products that must be used together.  It includes acids, a bleacher, a serum, an exfoliator, cleanser and toner.  During the night you wear the bleacher, retinol and an acid.  This phase penetrates the top layer of skin to lighten dark spots, clear pores and increase cell turnover.  During the day you wear the bleacher and an exfoliator which causes the top layer of dead cells to slough off.  This system is aggressive--the first few weeks you'll have dry, red skin though not as bad as with a chemical peel--but it is very, very effective and after the first few weeks your skin will calm down and normalize.  My face used to be freckled, prone to breakouts, and full of fine lines.  Now I don't have a single spot on my face, no fine lines and no zits.  It is absolutely amazing!  The system also improves the health of your skin by increasing cell turnover and helping it heal faster from any injuries. 

Be aware the system is an investment, both in time and money.  You have to be disciplined and apply all the components every nigh and morning.  If you travel, you have to carry a lot of small bottles.  Despite this I strongly recommend the Obaji system.  It has completely transformed my face.
