Oasis Christian Center - Los Angeles, CA —

I attended Oasis Christian Center for many years and this place is EVIL. They are a cult. They lure you in and make the focus about the church not God. I was used and abused by this church. I fortunately have found an amazing church now, but if I can save anyone the heart ache that my friends and I endured from this Pastor, it's worth it! The Pastor is a known adulterer and thief. Stay far, far away!

I'm totally with you. A family member of mine joined this church a few years ago & I've watched his behavior get more & more cultish. I use to be a very devoted Born-again myself, and yet nothing I've seen or experienced from some of the most intense Non-denominational churches comes close to the the behavior I've seen my family member exhibiting. His complete priority is this church & the friends he's met through this church & has completely cut himself off from anyone who doesn't believe exactly what they do. Also, just a little side note...some of his friends from this church are as gay as the night is dark, but are in denial because it's against their belief systems. It's so hard speaking to these 'straight' guy friends of my family member because by anyone's standards, these fellas are batting for the other team and it's so sad that they feel like they need to lie about their sexual orientation in order to be accepted by those people.
