OXY Cleansing Pads Maximum Strength really worked great on my moderate adult acne. I use these pads morning and night and they really clean my skin minimize my pores and clear up my acne. I have normal to oily skin and suffer from minor break outs from time to time. These pads are strong enough to work great yet never leave my skin feeling dry or tight.

I give the product an 8 due to the fact that I think it works well for body acne, but for your face, NO. OXY products are all fairly strong from my experience, even their products for sensitive skin. This product however is even stronger than their usual products. Like knock you over with the smell, strong. I don't think the product works any better than just a random cleanser you buy. The product is so strong, not just the smell but it also kind of burns your face. I think it would be better to just buy a cleanser and not set your face on fire with these pads. As mentioned previously I think it's a great product for body acne, specifically bacne. Since the skin on your back is way less sensitive than your face, it doesn't burn as bad. So overall, I say avoid the pads for your face unless you like torturing yourself but if you suffer from bacne this is a great product for it because of it's ease of use.

I think these definitely work to treat acne, but they are very harsh on your skin. I've tried other products that are better, and even a few that are worse, so I would rank these in between where results are concerned. If you have really oily skin, these might be better to use on oily skin tones. But if you have sensitive skin, or naturally dry or combination skin I would recommend other products. Effectiveness I really wish these didn't dry out the skin so bad as these seemed to work the best at treating my son's acne. They are maximum strength, and I believe it because these definitely helped dramatically reduce my kids acne. It also helped my acne in my hair line, and it didn't seem to dry out my head as bad as it did my kid's faces. I would only recommend these to people with excessive oily skin. Ease of Application Very easy to use. Convenience Convenient as all you have to do is use the pad to cleanse your skin, not big water mess to clean up around the sink. Side Effects They tend to dry out skin, so they are probably better for people with oily skin. Immediacy We started noticing results within four days. Very fast for acne medicine.

I think this is a great product for teenagers or for those who need an easy solution to cleaning your face. The pads are convenient and can be taken with you anywhere. They are effective when used frequently and easy to dispose of. They are also great at ensuring dirt comes off those harder to reach areas (back of neck following a sports event, etc). I experienced a few drawbacks when using OXY Cleansing Pads Maximum Strength. These pads are designed to be extra strong and hence the alcohol smell from the product is even more potent than the regular OXY Cleansing Pads. Once I used these on my face, I could still smell the alcohol from the pads on my face hours later. I don't like that others can also smell the OXY Cleansing Pads Maximum Strength emanating from my face. Another drawback I experienced is the packaging itself. If you tip the container over, there is alcohol smelling liquid all over the place. It too, does not dissipate from surfaces fast enough. The final concern I have is that the product is so strong that it was also harsh my face. I have extremely sensitive skin and the OXY Cleansing Pads Maximum Strength caused a small rash. Again, overall it is a good product, especially when convenience is factored in.

I always have this product on hand. It works fairly well as a preventative treatment and helps a little bit with the acne that I do develop. I usually use it after I have washed my face, but there are many, many times that I have used it as a stand-alone product. Sometimes something comes up and I don't have much time, so I will just grab one of the pads and go. It also feels cooling in the summer (I live in FL) and helps get rid of the oily/sweaty feeling. Effectiveness I am in my mid 30s and have been using this product since I was a teenager. It seems to prevent most breakouts. I do have a few random pimples but that seems to occur with my monthly cycle. It doesn't over dry my skin at all. Up until very recently, I've never even used a moisturizer on my face. Ease of Application You can't get much easier than pulling out a pad and swiping it over your skin. Even my teenagers are willing to use this! Convenience This product is very convenient. It is easy to transport since the lid screws on pretty tight. I've never had it leak. It is also very quick to use--just a few swipes and I'm done. Side Effects I haven't noticed any bad reactions or side effects on my self nor my kids.

These do a nice job of pulling the extra dirt and makeup off of my face. They are in a black container which is excellent for me because even though I'm a woman, I simply do not need a product in a girly container and my guy is happy because it looks more manly than some of the acne wipes on the market. Effectiveness It does a great job of getting rid of extra dirt, oil, and sweat. It also helps remove makeup and it's nice to use when my makeup is running down my face and needs cleaned off. It's also a weird use but these are great for removing hair dye off of your skin after a home kit. Ease of Application These could not be any simpler to use, you simply take one out, wipe, toss, and seal the jar. It is a bit frustrating when you first open them. The protective seal is hard to get off and I usually use a key to puncture it. Convenience These are very convenient to use. The only reason I can't give them a 10 out of 10 is because the container is square shaped and it doesn't fit in my cars cup holders like other brands on the market. Side Effects They do smell a bit strong and are hard around the eyes which sometimes is a must clean place. I know all of these products aren't meant to be close to the eyes but sometimes you need them in those areas. Immediacy They do immediately pull off dirt, makeup, oil, sweat, etc but they do not do much for bringing down acne swelling or drying out bumps immediately. They do work and help after two or three applications and can be used a couple times per day but they aren't miracle workers when it comes to swelling.

My kids have different types of acne of varying degrees of severity. We have tried almost every product available over-the-counter in stores. OXY Maximum Strength Cleansing Pads have out-performed all of the other acne washes and cleansing pads so far , when it comes to mild and medium acne. These pads work somewhat well on severe and cystic acne. The kids have not only used this product on their faces but also on their backs and chests. They are a bit strong smelling, when you open the container. I have seen OXY Cleansing Pads for sale at a variety of stores. I have found the best price on them at Target. They tend to be a little higher in price than other acne cleansing pads depending on where you shop. As far as their effectiveness is concerned, I think the extra cost has been worth it when it comes to my kids' facial skin. The OXY brand is a little harsh on my daughter's delicate face but my youngest son prefers this one over others. Effectiveness These acne pads work well on acne. Ease of Application The pads tend to stick together in the container like other brands of pads. Sometimes fluid drips from the pads, when you take one out of the container. Convenience Come in a plastic, resealable container. Side Effects Sometimes there is a strong alcohol smell , when you open the container. Immediacy With regular use, helps with mild and medium acne and helps somewhat with severe acne.

I really liked oxy cleansing pads as a teenager. I used the cleansing pads in addition to my usual facial cleansing. The oxy pads would pick up any leftover dirt or oils on my face that my facial cleaner left behind. I would be careful when using them though. You can over use the pads. If you have dry skin and don't use a good moisturizing regimin they can also dry out or irritate your skin as well. Effectiveness I feel like using oxy pads on a daily basis after my facial cleansing regimen was very effective. I never had a big problem with acne or blackheads. Ease of Application The ease of oxy pads held a big allure for me. No water or towels necessary. You just take a pad out of the container and use it then discard. Convenience Oxy pads are very convenient and very affordably priced. Side Effects Some dryness and irritation may occur based on your skin type. I have very sensitive skin and some times my skin would end up a little irritated after application.

Oxy's Maximum Strength Cleansing Pads should be taken very literally: maximum strength means that they are indeed very strong and have a high risk for side effects such as skin irritation and redness. I love the convenience of these; it is incredibly easy to wash your face when all you have to do is wipe it with a pad and then dispose of the pad. It's exceptionally nice to not have to fool with soap and water. Particularly on nights when you're exhausted and really do not feel like washing your face, it is extremely great to have an alternative that will prevent you from waking up with a face full of zits. However, using these pads every day is inadvisable. They are just way too harsh on the skin, whether you have very sensitive skin or not, to use daily. I'd recommend just using them on lazy days when you really don't feel like washing your face. They're quite effective at getting rid of and preventing zits, but you do have to deal with the accompanying dryness.

OXY Cleansing Pads (Maximum Strength) are terrible for your skin. They strip your skin of all its nutrients by completely drying out your pores. I used this when I was in very early teens because OXY has a way of marketing very well to teens. I thought that this would be the miracle product I needed to get rid of my nasty acne. However, I was in for a big surprise. OXY Cleansing Pads completely killed the skin on my face. It took out all the oils in my pores, not just the bad ones. I ended up with terrible dry patches on my cheeks and forehead that would crack and sometimes bleed. It took me, my mother, and my doctor forever to figure out what was going on. I ran out of the product and after a week, I started noticing that my skin was getting better. It was breaking out, but the dryness was going away, so I knew it had to be OXY pads. Once I stopped using, my skin went back to normal, but broke out twice as bad because my skin and pores were trying to compensate for not having any oil for so long. Do not use this product!
