The OXO peeler is simply the BEST peeler, period. I have destoyed more than one fruit or vegetable using other peelers or - God forbid - a paring knife, but this with this peeler, I can get close, uniform peels. If I go to someone's house and am preparing my part of the meal there, I even carry it with me, just in case they aren't smart enough to have one! — —… read full review »

My daughter gave me the OXO Good Grips Peeler for Christmas last year and I have used if for everything from carrots to apples to cheese.
