OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner Review

I had always wanted a Salad Spinner since watching the Foodnetwork. My lettuce has to be cleaned, and was so time consuming. Was not a task I enjoyed doing. When I seen one on T.V. I thought that is a great idea! I went to my local store compared items to items. Prices to prices, and decided on the OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner. Works wonders. Now I enjoy, instead of dreading making salads. I can not believe how much water after rinsing comes off, it's amazing. After I have cleaned and washed the lettuce I toss the greens in and let it spin away. I will say I dump the excess water out probably two to three times. Toss the lettuce into only the bowl part, and can't believe on how much longer the OXO Good Grips salad spinner keeps it fresher.

It always seemed like I was wasting lettuce, turning brown so fast. And in these times, with not wanting any wasted food. I'm very happy with the choice I made a few years back. This is a very useful tool in my life and kitchen. Saves time, saves money. I love kitchen gadgets, anything that helps make life easier is great in my book.
