The OXO Good Grips Pro Swivel Peeler quickly became one of my favorite kitchen utensils. For years I would peel vegetables the old fashioned way - with a knife. It was simple enough and effective. I often scoffed when friends spoke so highly of their OXO Peeler. That was until I received one as a gift. I can now understand why they were so enthu0astic over such a small utensil. This little peeler is an absolute time saver. It is amazing how much quicker I can peel and prepare my fruits and vegetables. The OXO Good Grips Pro Swivel Peeler works brilliantly on potatoes, carrots, swede, parsnips, apples, pears, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini and much, much more. I love that I can not only quickly peel vegetables and fruits, but also julienne them in no time which makes for perfect stir fry. I like that the handle is comfortable and easy to grip. It fits nicely in my palm and doesn't feel awkward when in use. The blade is sharp, which is great, however, as a result, caution is required at all times when in use or when cleaning. I can finally admit that I am a convert. The OXO Good Grips Pro Swivel Peeler has changed my way of thinking. This is a 10 out of 10 product.

I find myself peeling food quite often, and this peeler has been steadily by my side the whole time. It has a sharp, strong blade. It is also easy to control - I rarely feel as if I am going to slip and slice myself. The design makes it easy to clean. The grip is very comfortable. It peels all different kinds of foods with different skin thickness and texture with the same amount of ease. I rely on it when I am peeling for parties or large groups of guests because it makes peeling so quick. Overall, this is a wonderful product, like all OXO products, and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, durable, comfortable peeler.

I love this peeler!!! So easy to use and very comfortable, and a lot better to use than my old one. I wish I had switched to this one years ago, but always thought "it's just a peeler, how different can it be?" Definitely makes short work of peeling potatoes, carrots, apples, etc. Love it! The folks at OXO definitely know how to make products that are ergonomically adapted to hands. Design Great design! love this!

This is the best peeler I have ever owned in my life and that is 60 years worth of peelers! I love that it has such a thick handle to it with a comfortable grip. It makes peeling a bag of potatoes a breeze to do anytime, especially on holidays where you lots to do. The sharp blade makes peeling simple -- like slicing through butter. I can't say enough about this product. It changed my view of serving mashed potatoes! I used to avoid them, now I don't. Ease of Cleaning I usually hand wash just because I don't want anything to happen to it and I want to keep it in great condition but I have on occasion put it on the top rack of my dishwasher without any problems at all. Durability I use my peeler very often and it looks as new as the day I purchased it. I always dry it right away if I have put it in the dishwasher so it doesn't rust. I'm not certain this one will, but I don't want to take any chances. Over the 60 years I've tossed so many peelers becuase they were rusted. Design It is the most comfortable peeler I've ever owned. I can peel an entire bag of potatoes and my hands are still not tired. It has a thick handle with such a comfy grip to it. I love how sharp it is and it makes all the difference in peeling, peeling and more peeling.

I was given this as a gift from my kids after many times using those cheap vegetable peelers.  I would purchase one and then it would just wear out so quickly.  I had a few other OXO items so this peeler is the one they purchased for me.  It is very comfortable to hold and it does not slip out of your hands even when wet.  It cuts just a little below the skin so not much vegetable is wasted. I works good on all veggies.  I have also used it for apples and pears when preparing to can them.  The one thing I recently discovered after having this peeler for almost a year and using it very often is the blade stay really sharp.  I accidentally grabbed the blade and cut my thumb because it was still so very sharp.  It still works as good as it did when it was brand new.  It is easy to clean and most of the time I just put it into the dishwasher.  I would definitely recommend this peeler to anyone. this peeler is the best one I have ever bought. I am a leftie so many peelers are hard to use. This one is great!  I have told my sister and mom/dad they need to get one but they haven't yet so everyone is getting one for christmas. It makes peeling potatoes a breeze. I love the Oxo Good Grips vegetable peeler! I have used many peelers but find the Oxo to be the best. I have arthritis in my hands and it never gives me a cramp in my hand from using it to peel a lot of vegetables. It is easy to clean, it can be simply rinsed or dropped in the dish washer. I have owned it for a few years and it is a sharp as the day I bought it.

This peeler is by far the best for the price. It holds up well, as I have had mine for quite awhile and it is still going strong. The handle is comfortable and durable. The peeler is easy to operate and fits well in your hand. We have other peelers in our drawer, but when the family cooks together  there might be a "fight" over who gets this one. A good value! I would recommend this to others who are looking for an inexpensively priced gadget.
