Most HelpfulI recently purchased the 'Call my Cell' color from the Nic's Sticks collection which is a dark metallic type of blue. I found the color came out very nicely, but I had a problem with the brush. If the bristles on the brush were smaller and fine, I think I would've been able to detail my nail more. For...
review »I thought a lot of different things when I heard about this product. First I pictured a marker that up close would offer nothing more than a regular maker would. I imagined getting ripped off for a drop of nail polish that wouldn't cover the damage a load of dishes can do. I was very happily proven wrong. This product is FANTASTIC!!! I love to jsut have it on hand in my purse to touch up my color whenever I need to. I can honestly just use this product to polish my nails entirely, not just for touch-ups! I was thrilled to find that it was easy to apply and better yet quick-drying!!! I love it!...
review »This nail polish is very convenient! It's a little pen and you pump the end and the polish comes out the brush. The brush is the right size, not too fat, not too thin, etc.. Comes in great colors (that I don't think are available in regular OPI polishes) and wears great. The problems are a big downfall though. The pen leaves polish on the brush and though the cap seals tightly, there is an issue with left over polish getting goopy on the end of the brush. Also, be careful not to twist the cap too tightly or it will crack. Another issue is the amount of polish that comes out onto the...
review »Nicole Nic's Sticks by OPI is genius! I just finished sampling this product for SheSpeaks and just wanted to post here how wonderful it is. I trade off between getting pedicure's and doing it myself and when I do my own toes, I also end up doing my four year old daughter as well. Let me just say, it goes on easy even on a constantly wiggling mini diva, the color is intense, very bright and if you don't use a top coat, I must say it is glossy. We did our nails two weeks ago and have had no chips, no fading, and it is still glossy and nice! I reccomend trying this product!!
I really wanted to like Nic Stick's by OPI. I really did. And, for what it's worth, I liked the concept. Here's a little pen-sized applicator, which doesn't require any polish bottle that could potentially slip and spill all over my couch.
The concept is the only thing that actually works for this.
You pull off a cap on one end and start applying to your nails. Except the layer is very thin -- and super quick drying. I mean, it dries on the applicator's brush before you can even get it on to your nails! So, as any woman knows, this makes for a messy manicure. While one side is try, the other...
review »I thought that OPI Nic's Stick was going to be a new stapple for me, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The color and idea of the product were wonderful. I even thought the application was good. The product went on quickly and easily; it took almost half the time it usually takes me to do my toes! The control was great and the product went on beatifully. It is also nice not to have to worry about spills.
However, I found a few problems with the product. Although the pedicure looked awesome, it took three coats for the polish to be thick enough. And, even after three coats, the polish...
review »I first heard about the OPI's Nic's sticks from my teenage daughter, who had a coupon in Seventeen magazine for a free one. We had no idea what these were, and the next time we were in Ulta, we asked about them. We were very skeptical at first, as it sounded strange, because regular nail polish didn't seem all that complicated anyway. Come to find out, we loved the Nic's sticks, and that is the only nail polish that we buy now. You can polish your nails in minutes, throw the stick in your purse and if you get a nic in your polish, you can "draw" the polish back on, no problem! You can also draw...
review »This product sounded great so I tried it hoping for an easier way to add details to my nails or even just more convenient painting. Boy was I wrong, the brush was worse than that on a regular bottle of polish (and completely mangled) and the polish would barely even come out so I couldn't even paint my nails. Then the part of the stick used to pump out polish broke. It was a complete waste of money and not even usable. I was shocked because I normally love OPI but this gets two thumbs down!!!
