okcupid is a free dating site with some nice, albiet sometimes creepy, features.

i'm fond of the stalker feature, which allows you to see which users have viewed your profile. i'm not fond of the wtf report feature, which is a report of the questions that you answered differently than another user and shows you what they wanted you to answer. for example, say you answered the question "cats or dogs?" with "cats" and wanted your match to answer "cats." if a report was generated for you and a match, you would see if the match answered "dogs" or wanted their match to answer "dogs." the problem i have with that feature is that some of the questions you answer on the site are very personal, and might not be information you would like to share with a complete stranger.

all in all, it seems to be a good site - it's free, there are fun quizzes to do if you get bored, you can sort your matches in a variety of ways, and there are good privacy controls.
