Most HelpfulI flew in to O'Hare this past Friday and out on Saturday. I've been in the airport before - but not in a long time. I think it's been 20 years or so.
O'Hare is a huge airport. You need to allow plenty of time. I was fine coming in. Charlotte really isn't a big airport. I managed that and then caught the...

Most HelpfulExpect to be delayed at O'Hare. That way if things work out, you'll be pleasantly surprised. However, on-time is the exception rather than the rule. However, if you are delayed arriving, your connecting flight is probably equally delayed departing (the smaller the plane the more likely -- and longer...

If you get delayed on your way there and/or find your flight has been made earlier or you're coming from oversea's on a connecting flight etc. it can take FOREVER to get to your gate! Especially with security the way it is now, you really need to get there 2 HOURS before your flight is due to take off just incase. Better to be way too early than just a few minutes late or REALLY late.
The only problem i've had there is when we have been delayed on the way and arrived too late...we were running through trying to find our gate, EVENTUALLY found...
read full review »I enjoy going to the O'Hare Airport. It is nice that you can take the Limo bus to the airport. The limo bus carries people to each major airlines. Because the limo bus works in the airports, most people will never get lost in the airlines and they can find the airline that they are traveling with easier. It is a specially designed airport. It is actually beautiful in the way that it is designed.
It is also nice that the O'Hare airport offers great restaurants. It offers some great restaurants and it great the way the restaurants are designed. I always enjoy going to eat at the restaurants....
read full review »I have flown through numerous airports, and Chicago O'Hare is one of my favorites. There are lots of different choices for resturants and there are normally some interesting exibits to entertain you while you wait for your next flight. I have had fewer problems with delays then some other airports (like Atlanta). There are lost of places to sit and it doesn't take forever to get through security. The customs set up is one of the better ones I've gone through. If I am choosing between two flights of about equal price and times, one through O'Hare and one through another airport, I will almost always...
read full review »Ohare Airport is a very busy airport. It seems like you can get around pretty easy. The food is overpriced like all other airports. I have to say the I do perfer to take a flight from Ohare than some of the others. People are also friendly up there.
O'hare airport is utter Chaos. I can't count the number of times I've flown through or the airlines I flew with but everytime, something was delay or changed. Resulting in me waiting for hours, or running a mile from one terminal to another because a flight was changed.
