O'Hare Airport - multiple airlines Review

Overall the airport is VERY good, but it is SOO big. If you get delayed on your way there and/or find your flight has been made earlier or you're coming from oversea's on a connecting flight etc. it can take FOREVER to get to your gate! Especially with security the way it is now, you really need to get there 2 HOURS before your flight is due to take off just incase. Better to be way too early than just a few minutes late or REALLY late.

The only problem i've had there is when we have been delayed on the way and arrived too late...we were running through trying to find our gate, EVENTUALLY found someone in one of those cars to get us to the gate faster, he couldn't go paost a certain point so had to then get another guy who he'd called to wait for us there. We were still 5 minutes late for the flight so then had to wait another 4 or 5 hours. They were very good and gave us a couple of coupons...but the food was SO expensive that it was only enough for a plate of fries each in the end. If you're travelling and trying not to keep much money on you, it's a bit of a hassle.

overall it's pretty good though. The monorail is a terrific idea, they just need the layout a bit less sperad out really, but it's hard to do that with the amount of and size of planes that come through.
