I spent 16 hours in this airport as a minor. After my plane was late flying in, I missed my connection flight. All other flights were cancelled. They had my sister and I, walking from one terminal to another. It was completely riddiculous. We werent given any food vouchers and had no money, so we had to rely on the kindness of random strangers to give us a few bucks for food. We didnt encounter many nice employees. However there was this nice lady that was going to let us stay at her place if we couldnt get out that night. Overall, unless you are an airport junky, do not attempt this airport. Too many complications, horrible layout, and they dont take good care of minors.

I can understand why the airlines/airports are still trying to find a good solution for parents who insist on their minor children flying alone. Missed connections and delayed flights are common. I'm glad people gave you food, most people are kind when they have a chance. Can't help but wonder.....Why did your parent have you and your sister flying without money for emergencies? What did your parents say about you and your sister going home with a stranger if there was no night flight?
