Works Perfectly

I feel safe using OFF! I have used this brand for over 10 years. It is really an amazing brand that is out there. Now I really use it for my son. He loves being outside and playing. The thing about him is he gets hives from literally everything and mosquitos are the worst where we live. With that being said we really have to use candles and and everything to try and keep them at bay. As soon as he gets outs they attack him instantly. It is a matter minutes and he would be covered. With using off, they stay away from him. He can play outside and we will not have to worry about him getting ate up. This is great for us especially when during the summers family is coming in and there are a lot of BBQs and get togethers. I also know that there are a lot of bug sprays that have a smell to them and they are supposed to be unscented. Well this one is really unscented.

Pretty effective

This Off! Bug spray is pretty effective at keeping the bugs away. I typically use it when we are camping or when we are playing softball in the evening and the gnats are out. I don't like the feel of it on my skin, so I just spray it on my hat and my clothes. But this seems to be effective enough at keeping it off of my skin. One bad thing about this is that it will go bad in the heat. So if you leave it in the car during the summer, it may not work when you pull it out to use it. Ease of Application The ray bottle is easy to shake and spray on, although it can be hard to spray on the back of your own body. One good thing about it is that it will work for an area of the body without every bit of that piece of the body covered. In other words, if you get a couple squirts on the back of your shorts and ankles, it should protect every bit of the back of your legs, even though you didn't spray on every art. So this makes applying it a little bit easier.

Not very effective...

My family recently took a vacation together to the Dominican Republic, where there are plenty of mosquitoes and other insects that will have you wishing for some bug repellent, and we decided to bring along a few bottles of Off! FamilyCare Insect Repellent. It worked alright at first. But after the first few days, you practically had to bathe yourself with an entire bottle in order for it to have any effect. I'm not sure if maybe the bugs just built up an immunity or maybe Caribbean insects are just made of tougher stuff, but my sister and I were completely covered in mosquito bites. My poor sister even developed an infection from one of her bites! It's not really worth your money unless you will only be needing it for a couple of hours max. Effectiveness We had to practically use the entire bottle for it to work! One bottle per person per day is just too expensive and not worth it. Ease of Application It does just spray on very nicely. And of course, you rub it on. Scent It is not exactly unscented. It does have a distinct smell that my sister and I did not like. My mother, however, said she couldn't smell a thing.

Off! FamilyCare Insect Repellent IV Unscented

5

My family and I go camping a lot in the summer. We love to camp and fish in Northern Ontario. The one thing I hate about camping is the bugs. I know there are bugs everywhere but there seem to be a lot of mosquitoes and other biting bugs up there. Over there years I have tried many different types of insect repellents. Most of them I have disliked mainly for the scent. I loved that they kept the bugs away, but everyone smelled absolutely horrible. You never wanted to wear bug spray anywhere important because nobody wants to smell like that. The first time I saw Off! FamilyCare Insect Repellent IV Unscented I was pretty excited but at the same time a little skeptical. It was hard to believe there was an insect repellent that didn't stink. I bought the Off Unscented anyhow, hoping it really wouldn't smell bad. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it truly is unscented. Now my family and I can wear insect repellent whenever we need to and not have to worry about being smelly! This stuff works great and smells like nothing, it's perfect.

Off! Family care insect repellent unscented. Where i live during the summer months mosquito's are bad, they are very bad. Not only are they bad but i am allergic to them so if i get bit they get huge. Mosquito's love me. so we bought this insect repellent hoping it would keep even one mosquito from biting me. Well for me this spray did not work i did some research and found out it was me that's why. It doesn't really have a sent it doesn't effect you if you have sensitive skin it comes out from a spray bottle and sprites on. My little brother did use this also and it did work pretty well for him. It kept a lot of insects away from him in the summer months while he was outside. Its great for just being outside during the day or night hours. So i guess it depends on who you are and if it will work. If your lucky it really helps with repelling insects i would probably buy again not for my self but for others.

OFF! Family Care Protects with Safety in Mind

Insect repellent is a must, particularly if you live in a warm climate and/or are close to standing water, which is often a breeding ground for flying pests. Many worry about the typical insect repellent because they have heard negative stories about the active ingredient DEET while others simply cannot stand the scent of these products. One good alternative to consider is OFF! Family Care Insect Repellent Unscented. Insect Repellent Facts and Commentary: OFF! Family Care Insect Repellent Unscented is a good product for repelling all sorts of insects and related pests. According to the manufacturer, OFF! Family Care Insect Repellent Unscented is effective at repelling mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, biting flies, chiggers and fleas. Each treatment is good for about two hours and there is virtually no scent. Living where I do, near the Gulf of Mexico coast, there are plenty of encounters with flying insects and as a result, we have used just about every brand and every variation of insect repellent on the market. Most are at least good, but many often have an undesirable quality or two. With OFF! Family Care Insect Repellent Unscented, two of the greatest complaints are eliminated. There is no nasty scent and the product contains only a small percentage of DEET. Looking at the label reveals that this insect repellent contains just 7 percent DEET, which isn't much at all and it is low enough that it should calm the concerns of most parents. OFF! Family Care Insect Repellent Unscented is fairly good at repelling mosquitoes and other flying pests but I will be the first to admit that it isn't the absolute best and the reason is due to the lower level of DEET. I realize I just said that lower DEET makes the product safer and that is true, but what you gain in safety you give up somewhat in effectiveness. You have to reapply this product every two hours and it isn't going to keep away the really bad insect problems like you may encounter in a thick forest. Bottom Line: My bottom line Viewpoint with OFF! Family Care Insect Repellent Unscented is that it is certainly a good product and one worth trying, but it won't satisfy every need. If all you need is an average or small amount of protection and do not plan on doing much besides hanging out by the pool or going on a picnic, then this product is perfectly fine. Greater needs will require a stronger solution, but as long as you realize the limitations and do not expect too much, you will find OFF! Family Care Insect Repellent Unscented a good product that is safer and doesn't have the foul, chemical smell associated with the insect repellents with greater amounts of DEET. Effectiveness It works well as long as you don't need anything super- effective Ease of Application Pump spray takes a little more time, but you don't get the nasty fog of an aerosol. Scent Unscented formula, so the scent is acceptable. There is barely any scent

Off Family Care Keeps Bugs Away

4

Where we live, we have a lot of mosquitos on humid summer nights. We like to have fires in the backyard, though, with the kids and need a way to keep these bugs away. We tried the Off Family Care this year and it worked well, didn't leave a stinky smell and seemed safe to use. I think it's a little pricey though.

Prevents Bug Bites and Isn't Smelly

4

I bought this a couple of weeks ago in preparation for an outdoor evening event.  This Off! insect repellent is in a pump spray bottle.  It is unscented and contains aloe vera.  It only contains 7% DEET, and offers two hours of mosquito protection.  DEET is an active chemical ingredient and typically protects against tick bites, preventing tick-borne diseases such as Lyme disease, meningoencephalitis, and a few others. I never spray an insect repellent directly on my skin, although it is perfectly fine to do so with this product.  I spray a small amount on my clothing while it is still on hangers.  They do claim that it does not damage most natural fabrics, but they advise against spraying it on synthetics, like spandex.  The last time I used it, I just sprayed it on the leg bottoms of my jeans.  There were not any visible marks left.  I was outside for over 5 hours and did not get one mosquito bite. One thing I did notice is that the pump spray leaks from the top when you try to spray it.  Otherwise, this is good stuff to use if you plan on being outside.
