when I get bit by a mosquito i swell up horribly. It hurts and if I get bit on my face i look like hideous. I try bug repellant sprays and mosquito lotions but it doesn't seem to work and I get bit. It seems like Mosquitos are attracted to me because out of my whole family im the one that gets it the most. I found OFF! clip on and I was blown away by the effectiveness. I went camping and not once did i get bit. I wore 2 of them to be safe and I was so impressed. I make sure when we go camping that all of my family has one of these and we never run out of refills.

Mosquitos love me. I hate bug spray. I always seem to get it in my mouth, yuck! I thought this would be great. I got it on sale, and with a coupon, it is pretty pricey--and the replacement pads aren't cheap either. My husband used it first while he was outside with the kids. He clipped it to the outside of his pocket and he said it was great. So, I tried it. I didn't have any bites on my arms, but my legs were a different story. I'm only 5'2", so my legs aren't that far away from the fan. I tried it again and laid on the chaise near my legs. No leg bites, but arm and neck bites. When I thought about it, my husband hardly ever gets biten anyway. It is a great concept, but the area it repells is not that large. Not like the dome of protection shown on the commercial. The cost really is too high for the small area it covers unless you're like my husband and never get bitten anyway. So if you never get bitten anyway, you don't need it. In the end, the bug spray is the best, even if it stinks and tastes bad.

I have used OFF Clip-On and I was getting bitten on the my back half.Not on my front half were I had OFF Clip-On in used.I might need to were two to cover my whole body at one time.So I would not tell you to buy just one for coverage,because it dose not work all that well.But If you had two to were you would be cover.They say one will work but it dose not.also when you walk around you need to walk slow.Because if you walk fast or run you will not be cover.I say this because I have used it myself.I would tell you to save your money and buy the spray.If you are going to be out walking around.

I was a bit skeptical about whether this would really work or not. The price deterred me a little bit at first, but since I really don't like to use bug sprays or cream, especially on my kids, I decided to splurge and give it a try. My son and his friends used it one night while playing a board game (they put it in the middle of the board for everyone). They all said it worked great and the mosquitos didn't bother them at all. What does a kid know, right? I had to try it for myself! I used it for the first time over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. Everyone around me was getting "eaten alive" but the bugs and mosquitos were not bothering me! I definately have to give this a "very good" rating and will be purchasing the OFF Clip On for everyone in the family! And believe me I plan on sharing my experience with my friends and family. I know quite a few people who camp and this will be great for them.

My sister bought an Off Clip-On and offered to let me test it. I am outside walking the dogs, working in the garden and yard, so she knew I would test it before she could. I used it while working in the garden and it did not work as well as I had hoped. I clipped it to the waist of my shorts and it seemed to keep bugs from swarming my face, but not off my legs. She came to get it so she could use it and she reported that it did not work for her either. So it's not just my opinion, but also from someone not associated with Viewpoints.

Just moved from Portland OR to Louisiana, the mosquitos here are... well , you could name them and keep them as pets. I love my out door area but the mosquitos are un bearable. I bought this product. Big mistake. Sitting out side , shirtless in summer shorts with this devise clipped on my shorts, then, placed on the table facing towards me AND then holding it using it as a hand held defense against my vampiric ememies..... still, i was like fresh meat in a vulture kill. I am still scratching from those demonic mosquito bites. I will seek further for a combate against my blood suckin' "pets" to enjoy my outdoor life. This produst is a rip-"off"!!!!! I hear "old spce" repels every thing.........

I bought this product because our yard is full of mosquitos and ticks, we used this product and still kept getting bit and then got home and found ticks all over us. I am very dissatisfied with this product and then when I sent them an email about this product, they never bothered to even contact me.

I bought the OFF Clip-On because I had a coupon, not really expecting it to work.  I don't really care for all the oily sprays and wipe-ons so was quite relieved the first time I used it.  We were camping and had to leave the door of the motorhome open and I was thrilled to be able to sleep with out being eaten alive.  I am allergic to insect bites and hate getting them as they swell up and take weeks to go away.  A month later I forgot to use the OFF Clip-On and got all bitten.  I won't make that mistake again.  What I like most about the OFF Clip-On is the light scent and the little fan is handy if it is really hot to cool yourself down with.

Off clip-ons are not what I thought they would be.  First of all, they operate on batteries, so they are mechanical.  Secondly, because they are mechanical and like little motors they make a whirring sound.  I purchased two of them, one for my husband and one for myself (my husband wanted me to get one for the dog too, but I thought we should try them out first).  We were pretty excited with anticipation of sitting outside in our wooded backyard, that had been soaked with rain that lasted for weeks.  We assembled out clip ons, not much to it really, clipped them to ourselves and turned them on.  We toasted each other with a glass of wine and said, "Here's to summer!" Well, my husbands Off clip-on was really noisy, it sounded like when you put a tape cassette into a tape player and rewind it, and it never stops rewinding!  That was a tad bit daunting.  So we  put the Off clip-ons on the table in front of us with the clip ons bursts of air directly on us.  They certainly worked, however we woke up with headaches and wondered if we should have pointed them outwards (like they show in the advertisement) rather than towards us.  It might have been the Off clip ons that gave us a headache, but then again it might have been the wine.  Bottom line here is that there is a learning curve but once you learn it, you'll be bug free.

When I go outside in the summer, the mosquitoes come running for me. Well, flying. If I am outside with 10 other people, the mosquitoes will bite me all night long and leave everyone else alone. I don't know why. I once got 42 mosquito bites at a picnic while my friend who was with me got none. True story. So when I heard about Off Clip-On, I jumped at the chance to try it. Because as much as I absolutely hate getting bitten. My verdict? It's easy to use, and it keeps the bugs away, but not if you're moving around. It's more of a "sitting at a picnic table" kind of device rather than a "taking a walk in the park" kind of device. Which I suppose is better than having nothing, but it was only a little disappointing in that regard. Also, it only works on mosquitoes.  I was really hoping it would also keep the annoying gnats away from me this summer, but I had no such luck. In general though, for sitting outside on a summer night, it's wonderful, and I can now not be the only one getting bitten all night long.
