The reason I became an O Magazine subscriber was pretty understandable to anyone who lives for a good bargain: I received a special offer of 12-issues for $5.00.  I love to read and I love to save money, so I couldn't pass up that combination. I'm also a long-time fan of the Oprah Winfrey… read full review »

A friend brought me several magazines one day and one of them was O' The Oprah Magazine.  I will read anything once and if I don't care for it I don't care to read it again.  I didn't care much for Oprah's magazine, maybe because I don't care much for Oprah anymore.  I use to love… read full review »

Very rarely do I ever feel so strongly about something.  O, The Oprah Magazine is leaps and bounds above every other magazine on the shelf in its category.   In the art and fashion world, which is my personal background, I look for the "one", the trend setter, the changer of the status quo that inevitably everyone else copies in one form or another, until finally the most watered down version ends up at Target.  — O, The Oprah Magazine is exactly that.  It is the real deal, the genuine article.  In a category where most publications print insipid banter,… read full review »

I'm not very original, I'm afraid, but I admire style and quality material of Oprah magazine. She definitely knows, what she's doing. All articles are so insightful and quite deep on this or that matter, nothing hasty or unaccomplished. And just look at these pictures!!! Quality just saturate them all. I didn't notice even one faux pas. Keep up your good approach, Oprah! I personally appreciate it very… read full review »

When I was pregnant, I decided to re-evaluate my magazine subscriptions.  With all the baby and parenting books and magazines I was starting to accumulate, I decided to only keep two magazine subscriptions.  O (Oprah's mag) was one of the keepers.  It is so well rounded and covers so many real life topics.  I love the book and movie reviews.  I also really like the clothing reviews and suggestions because they are down to earth and realistic, which makes them very different from the clothing reviews you find in so many other magazines.  The clothing featured in… read full review »

I got a one year free subscription from my coke rewrds.  The magazine started arriving very quickly (I've subscribed to some that take forever to come.)  I was pleasantly surprised to find in my mailbox a huge magazine.  It was like getting the old Sears wishbook.  There are ALOT of advertisements in this magazine.  They also have some really good articles.  It's easy to pass on once you go thru it twice.  Not a magazine I find I need to keep around for… read full review »

I was excited to get the O Magazine, but it is really just A LOT of ads and the shopping advice and great finds are usually way out any normal person's budget. There are some great articles on occasion but I look forward to receiving less and less each issue. It seems like every month there are even more ads and less substance to the… read full review »

I like many am an avid Oprah watcher because I think she is very inspiring and does good things for people.  So when I heard she had a magazine, I couldn't wait to pick it up and it was a good read.  This magazine is very thick, but cluttered with many advertisements.  The content is great though because they offer articles on a wide variety of topics and lifestyle tips.  This is a great women's magazine because I have found ways to destress, have more confidence in the workplace and great weeknight dinner recipes.  The recipes are a little complex, but if you are… read full review »

When this magazine arrives each month, whatever else I'm reading (which usually consists of several books and other magazines) gets put aside until I've read O from cover to cover.  I like that each issue has a theme.  Certainly, some months, and some articles, are more pertinent to my life than others, but I can always find something -- usually many things -- in each issue to keep my attention.  Many pages end up dog-eared for future reference or action before I pass it along to my sister. — — Many people who have never read this magazine assume it is "just… read full review »

I read this magazine twice. The first time it was because this magazine was brought up to my attention from one parent who actually won a black cadillac when she accepted the won invitation to Oprah's show. Others commented on this magazine to be full of good insights. — — I found a copy at a doctor's office. I glanced through it, but I could not find much that captured my attention other than a well-done calendar of events which was no help to me. — — I fully read another copy of this magazine a couple of months later, at a magazine stand in a Target store. I felt… read full review »

When Oprah first came out with her magazine, I jumped on the bandwagon and purchased a year for myself, all of my friends and my mother.  We would talk about all of the articles and share our thoughts and feelings about them as well.  We always appreciate the fact that the magazine has wonderful articles.  These articles are helpful, insightful and full of wonderful ideas and tips which make like easier.  As well, the articles allow us to open our eyes to new and different aspects of life which, for some of us, have never occured to us prior to reading the articles. … read full review »

I have been a subscriber since the very beginning of this magazine.  I have always said that you do not have to be an Oprah fan to enjoy this mag.  It is like settling in with your favorite Sunday newspaper.  There is a little something for everyone.  Yes the magazine is thick.  Yes some of the articles don't appeal to me.  Yes some of her shopping picks are way out of my price range....but that is part of the fun of reading a magazine.  You get to check out things that are not in your normal realm of existence!!!!  You get a peak at how others live,… read full review »

Oprah's "O" magazine is full of fantastic tips, and things worth buying/reading, etc. I recommend this over any other magazine. Oprah may be on the cover, but the advice given is from a wide variety of sources. A great read, month after month. — I started reading the O magazine the day it came out, and have been hooked ever since. Oprah is the one and only guru of self-help, and gives a plethora of advice for a multitude of subject matters. She discusses diet, exercise, good housekeeping, cooking, and new products that you just HAVE to have! — I recommend not only reading it, but… read full review »

I have to really fish through all the ads to find the very intelligent readable articles which I enjoy. Many articles are thought provoking and a little controversial. The magazine manages to challenge the way we think on many levels. THose compliments sharply conflict with the complaint myself and other have mentioned that the items showcased in the ads are very expensive and would never be considered by most readers of the magazine. I would like them to promote less expensive wearable fashions, creams, etc. but perhaps this is necessary for them to raise advertising $. Also, the ads really… read full review »
