O-Magazine is one of the best on the market to me. I have read so many magazines for so many years. I absolutely love them. There is such a wide variety to choose from that you have to subscribe to so many to get everything out of them that you want. This magazine to me has everything in it that I need and want in a magazine and if I had to just choose one to subscribe to it would be this one.
It seems to me that this magazine is constantly printing articles to help women improve themselves. That to me is not necessarily a bad thing. We were not born perfect and I am always looking for ways to help make myself a better person. Oprah's magazine has articles to improve health physically and mentally. And I also love that it is a thick magazine. It's like sitting down to read a book and I save it for when I really have time to sit down and enjoy it.
I have found many good books to read from this as well. Generally when I take a tip from this magazine for a book to read I am happy I did so. The books are well-written and thought provoking. They provide entertainment and I know better than to start one before bed or I'll be up reading it half the night. I'm really impressed that they take the time to find books for us to read that really are good.
The skin section is fantastic. I've found many good products through this that have helped my skin. As a 31 year old woman I'm always interested in helping my skin. Especially because I have problem skin. My only one complaint here is that sometimes the average reader cannot afford the skin remedies offered. If I remember correctly though, they do try to give you a range in prices.
Though I enjoy looking at the fashion in this magazine, I have to agree with another reviewer that they tend to post clothing that is too expensive for the average reader. If they would find clothing that is affordable but still cute like other magazines for women I think this would probably up my review to outstanding. Not only clothing, but sometimes the other things they say to buy in there are way too expensive as well. Food, trinkets, etc. I don't know if they forget that most of us are in a recession or not that rich to begin with, or if these suggestions are just meant for women more in a money bracket on par with Oprah.
Overall, though, I really appreciate the quality of the articles. From health to psychological to just interesting, everything is well thought out and well written. I believe that they are dedicated to putting out an excellent magazine and I appreciate that. I also appreciate that it does not cost a lot to subscribe to the magazine. Sometimes things maybe be too expensive that are advertised but at least the magazine is not.
Definitely worth buying and devoting time to reading.
